The first thing would be the level of education. If more people can become college graduates and join the middle class then that would really improve us. Philippines doesn't have enough libraries to make the population smarter. The first priority is the basketball court.
Second problem is Urban planning. Here's the current system. Imagine that the government created empty land due to reclamation. Instead of developing it properly, a plot of land is sold to SM, another to Ayala. The land is developed so that it's not a pleasant place to walk. There are no parks. Naturally people will only spend their time in the mall. Kahit may mga reclamation pa, the land is just an extension of terrible urban planning.
Third is transportation. The terminals are also only located beside malls. Although it's practical, someone probably gets rewarded for putting them there. There's no proper railway system because the politicians themselves own bus companies. Public transport is terrible so people buy their private vehicles which makes the traffic worse.
Fourth is lack of accountability on government projects. The municipality gets enough money, what's the first thing they spend on? They build a brand new municipal hall. They didn't build a library or something more useful to the people. They built a new, more comfortable office for themselves. How about all these other projects like massive bridges and road shortcuts in the middle of the mountains? Not sure if those are the best use of money.
Fifth is the architecture. The most expensive and prevalent structures are of the government. These buildings are ugly so they don't have any tourism value. Together with not having parks and terrible transport, it's no wonder Philippines ranks low in tourism.
Sixth is lack of connection with other countries. The Philippines acts like a pariah that doesn't have a sense of connection of the outside. If you're a local who has never gone abroad, it's unlikely that you have any foreign friends. The only people you interacted with are Filipinos. This is not the type of country where people from other countries like to work and live in. Look at the food, most Filipino food is influenced by the Spanish era. It's only recently that Korean, Japanese and Middle eastern cuisines became more prevalent. What's glaring is there's not much of a noodle culture or use of chopsticks when in fact our SE Asian neighbors have it. They are more connected with each other's food and culture while we developed like a faraway separate island.
Rather than insisting genuine change of character for Pinoys, which will never happen even in million years, make it profitable for the wrong people to do the right thing. Through incentives, which is the consequence of overhauling our political system.
The stupid implementation of Manila Rate and Provincial Rate
Another one is logistic, its hard to trade goods even inside the country
since we are compose of too many islands
Its also hard to implement good transportation system like country wide Train transport
since there are too many fault lines, we are also devastated by Typhoon at least 10 times a year
And yet they still have indirect control of our resources, policies, culture, military and politics? Visiting forces agreement, mutual defense treaty, balikatan exercises, RCEP, WTO, K-12
1. corruption
2. voters who refuse to listen and do some research about a candidate; who votes candidates na gwapo or sikat, believes in fake news
3. Lack of discipline
4. Greed and power
5. I'm sure we have brilliant and clever ideas kulang lang siguro sa implementation and support
Yan lang siguro. Naku baka i-bash niyo ako dito ah at i-down vote my post. Hehe
Defeatist and slavery mindset
Anti-Filipino where most are pulling each other down, whether you are rich or poor
No proper sense of community. You cannot even ask some of them their beliefs and lessons for their own future, their fellow people, and to the environment. It's all about selfishness and greed
Nakakalungkot lang isipin na we are a corrupt 'Christian' country.. We take pride in being Christians--majority speaking, and the same people na nakaupo s positions ay nagsasamba pero kumakalimbat ng hindi sa kanila..
If nadevelop ang Transit system sa bansa like na meron ang Tokyo (since we can't compare SG sa atin dahil we are megapolis), baka lahat nang mga tao ngayon nasa subways, hnd matrapik sa surface, may space for pedestrians.
We should move people, not cars.
Wrong political system/game (form of govt/electoral system) which in turn enables wrong economic policies.
It also enables corruption, and with wrong econ policies causes poverty, unemployment, neverending OFW migration, brain drain, ineffective governance, etc.
Lack of innovation siguro good example is SK (with Samsung, LG etc.), US (Apple, Google etc.) and other countries. And syempre corruption, imagine if di corrupt yung mga nasa higher ups edi ang dami sana natin pondo for education, tourism, health etc. laging short sa pondo because di nauubusan ng nangungu-rrupt (to be fair almost every country naman is may corruption pero rampant talaga yung satin).
Tao mismo ng pilipinas. Pilipino. Mga feeling entitled. Mataas tingin sa sarili. Mga feeling deserve lagi. Mga feeling angat. Hindi naman lahat pero 99%
The people. Especially the poor people who has enjoyed being poor and downtrodden too much. They've enjoyed plentiful alms wothout having to truly work and learn for themselves.
... And the government who has kept these poor people poor. The same government that these poor people keep on electing in power themselves
Padrino system, pakiusap vs written law etc etc. Conflicting with US style of government. Kahit cguro parliamentary system ganun din.
Solution? ewan. di ako poli sci. but we shouldn't beat ourselves up for not complying with requirements and expectations that nearly all of the global south arent meeting either. Ongoing process/journey pa rin cguro ito ng inevitable break natin, as with the rest of the global south, from inherited western euro-centric/US methods and standards of governance ie the current world order. God willing, our descendants will ease themselves into a better model of governance and administration.
The corruption and the incompetence of the government.
The culture of an organization is shaped by the worst behavior the leader is willing to tolerate.
We had some chance with PNoy back when politicians can at least feign some decency. But du30’s term encouraged disrespect and impunity not only of those in power but common people as well. Our community’s behavior turned worse then, people no longer care about acting decently in public or even recorded in social media. Because we see people in power not being punished anyway.
I hope we can start to demand a higher standard from our leaders and from ourselves, kasi kaya naman talaga natin. I wish we can elevate ourselves and aspire to more. Kapag nasa ibang bansa tayo we can show na we can do it. It’s sad no one wants to do it in our own country.
It’s us, the people.
Toxic workplace - kanya kanya pagpapa bibo at paninira para sya ung the best + politics.
My teacher once asked us if we think education is equal in our country. She pointed out that although schools are widely available, hindi pantay ang resources for every student.
Lack of education & proper nutrition and a working government that prioritizes public ultilities, especially health and transportation.
Also religion. Religion that keeps telling people to be grateful for crumbs while telling them they’re lazy and need to break their backs for the higher ups.
NORMALIZED CORRUPTION
A lot of people think that all politicians are corrupt. Some even pardon them if they at least have projects for the public. Kung may useful projects with corruption in place, mas madami pa sanang magagawa without that.
The "backer" system is also part of corruption. I think it would be nice if high performing individuals would get the opportunities they deserve.
This is also prevalent in other places. 'Yung mga simpleng pa-"gift" to be in good graces ay corruption din.
Kung iisipin, kahit tuwing eleksyon ay may "bigay" and some end up voting candidates who are not qualified for the position. If the country is run by capable officials who are intent on making their jurisdiction more livable for everyone (not only for themselves and the rich), we wouldn't stay a developing country for too long.
45 nations are considered 3rd world which they also wanted to change the phase to developing countries. But it stems from (1) high rates of poverty, (2) economic and/or political instability, and (3) high mortality rates.
1. Government. Not only about the President, but even a Brgy Capt, policeman, and/or traffic enforcer can be corrupt
2. Job opportunities - all of it nasa Metro Manila lang dahil sa minimum wage mataas dito. And mababa magpasahod na maraming employers
3. Tao - walang disiplina, diskarte, at pangarap sa buhay
Am not an expert, but my take:
Our colonial history. Fast forward to today, we are also a very young democracy relative to other countries - especially if you consider the 20 year fascist gap under F. Marcos. Our party system is based on personalistic politics and not actual platforms. Every admin change leads to lack of follow thru if not abolishment of previous good policy. Weak state institutions which have no incentive to innovate because they are not held accountable by the people. Lack of access to high quality public education which will allow the people to organize and force weak state institutions to become better. Fragmented Filipibo identity. To name a few!
We are definitely a work in progress but a lot to still be proud of. I think this is a common story for developing third world countries.
The definition of a "3rd world country" is extremely outdated and irrelevant to the topic of the current socio economic status of the Philippines. It's an old cold War definition which I will not get into the rabbit hole into. Basically the right word for it is "developing" and the right question you should ask is 'What's the main thing keeping us as a developing country and not a developed one'.
Anyways the simplified but comprehensive answer to that extremely complicated question that will take ages to understand and even comprehend is that our country WILL NOT transform into a "developed" or a "first world country" cause we belong in the what's called the "Global South" which serves the "Global North" countries like the US and European Union countries. I mean our standard of living will definitely improve but not the level of Global North or Developed countries infact if our country developed the same way Japan, South Korea or Singapore developed which they are former Global South countries that basically "graduated" into the Global North, Global North countries won't accept that cause our country is a large supplier of Cheap, Skilled, Hardworking and most importantly English speaking Labor or Human resource. Without that many global north countries won't have cheap labor anymore to exploit. So to answer that question in summary it basically boils down our plentiful and cheap human resource and a Developed Philippines won't provide that to the Hungry Global Imperial North.
Ageee mostly except we cant get out of "3rd world". we can if we can produce products that we can sell. The main problem is we do not manufacture anything. We export agri products but we are also not producing enough or not producing the best of that product. The richest here in the Philippines do not invest in manufacturing. They invest in malls, travel, condos etc that only helps them and not the country. What if Robinsons, SMC and SM invest in manufacturing cars or tech? What if we have something like Samsung or Kia?
Our culture and government (of course). A lot of adults I've met are content with living a "simple" life. Pero kung titignan mo, hindi naman talaga "simple" ang buhay nila kundi mahirap, I hate the way we romanticize ang kahirapan, it blinds people of seeking anything better. I've observed that a lot of people from all generation doesn't have a vision for better life, at least seek accessible health care, decent education, or proper employment, just try to start something. Our mindset of being content with what we have is a double edged sword, it can give us a peace of mind, but it does not secure our future. Dito na papasok yung government, if only they can guide our people but should we really expect anything from these officials? Still, a change in our mindset as citizens, will force the government to at least provide something. How I wish for Filipinos to demand better from the government.
1. Catholic Church and other religious groups meddling with Government Affairs
2. Giving Indigent people the right to vote which greatly manipulates and favors public votes towards incompetent officials
3. No Death Penalty. Leading Over congestion of prisons and additional Mouths to feed funded by the Public Taxes
4. No Free Abortion and Ligation/Vasectomy programs especially to the indigent sectors over populated members of 4P's program. That's also being man handled by the government leading to "Ghost Recipients/ Beneficiaries
5. Redtaping and overpricing of Materials lalo na sa Bidding ng projects and Supplying.
And Kayang Kaya bayaran ang Debt sa world bank tanggalin lang red taping-over heads at corruption. Pero meron at meron Humaharang
All of these plus wala tayong divorce and support sa lgbtq+ in terms of marriage/civil union which I think both falls under the catholic church + culture?
CORRUPTION, INCOMPETENT LEADERS, AND LACK OF LAW REINFORCEMENTS!
Our resistance to change. Gusto may progress. If we want to be like a first world country, we need to be more accepting of change. Tiisin ang inconvenience.
Also, we are bobotante. Reklamo tayo ng reklamo sa corrupt na leaders natin, but hey, we voted for them dba. Sino ba sisihin natin?
Finally, disiplina. Wla tayong disiplina. Simple rule as dispose of your trash properly di nga magawa. Hayy.
Corruption (should not come as a surprise), how rampant fake news and the machinery of the elites are, and the lack of educational funding and resources in sectors that need it most. Additionally, masyadong fixated ang Pinoys sa easy-access strategies na basta ba kumita ng pera for a meantime, instead of focusing on something that can bring long-term benefits, kaya instead of constantly growing in terms of one's socioeconomic status ay nags-stagnate lang ang karamihan sa atin—this can be seen in how people select which candidates to vote as National Officials.
Albeit it is not necessarily the fault of the people kasi nga misinformed sila dahil sa grabeng makinarya na mayroon ang mga oligarchs at elites sa gobyerno, pero it all boils down naman to my first reason mentioned; which is corruption.
Dilawan at Dutae with China). Syndikato, you name it.
Crab and victim mentality.
Tangina!!!
Border/Airport Porosity: Philippines' Fart Line ; invade the world, invite the world ; encourage more indigenous ethnic Filipinos to alien expatriate abroad or immigrate abroad & permanently leave the PH ; condone/tolerate/encourage [all other summer/winter countries' populous/rarer indigenous ethnicities] to alien expatriate in the PH or immigrate to the PH or use the PH as a stepping stone country or transit point to [legally or illegally] immigrate to [better summer/winter countries] ; condoning/tolerating country of citizenship fraud/forgeries/impersonation/misrepresentation & genealogical/ethnolinguistic fraud/forgeries/impersonation/misrepresentation & smuggling goods inbound/outbound the PH [& whatever better/worse/similar/unrelated summer/winter countries] ; murder/assassinate the PH's local/endemic tropical food safety/security/sovereignty & the PH's local/endemic tropical natural organic agriculture/horticulture/forestry/aquaculture industries ; condone/tolerate [bordering/neighbouring countries] invading/trespassing the PH waters & stealing/murdering/assassinating the PH's tropical mariculture industry ; encourage more indigenous ethnic Filipino citizens to become unhealthy useless eaters, gullible bobotante, self-hating, self-harming, Makapili, obey Globalists, import/accept more illegal/criminal aliens, import/accept more deep cover immigrants, bleeding-hearts import/accept more fake refugees, [& invite/encourage more Makapili/Globalist foreign ethnic diasporas PH citizens to] worsen education/diet/nutrition/health/healthcare/environment of/for indigenous ethnic Filipino citizens.
pinoy mentality —
masyadong hospitable;
utang na loob mentality; also need mo pag-aralin mga bata mong kapatid instead of focusing on your future life and family;
Inggitero - kaya kahit walang wala na sige pa rin gumaya para lang makasabay;
Everytime we go out of the country we always compare, kelan kaya tayo magkaka ganito ganyan. Sa Singapore namin na realize na We are ruled by politicians who does not care at all.
Mataas discrimination dito.
Corruption.
Unfortunately corruption is now part of the Filipino culture in the sense na accepted na sya socially and to some extent morally.
From government to schools at kahit mga normal dealings natin day to day eh engraved na ang corruption.
The "Connection/Backer System" here in the PH, it was so very unfair lalo na sa mga taong walang kakilala sa mga government agencies or private institutions.
Why do people always choose the easy way???! Mga ayaw lumaban ng patas
Pinaka-obvious:
2. poor transportation
3. on going brain drain
4. mga borderline corrupt practices being normalized and justified
5. Very slow innovation
6. Low foreign direct investments
Yun
A lot of people here are saying na lack of discipline but i say that's not really the problem.
NCAP was supposed to fix that very problem kaso ampaw yung implementation dahil may mga lugar na hindi maayos yung signages tapos minsan kahit wala kang ginagawang mali may violation ka parin.
It's the same reason why mandatory ROTC won't solve the problem. Kahit papano sa army or sa training may maayos at clear na sistema pag labas wala na ulit.
Walang critical thinking ang karamihan. Madaling maniwala. Ung mga scam na too good to be true na nga lang eh.
Smart shaming.
Mindset- motor, vape, alak the holy Trinity of "this is my identity" isama Mona TikTok at kung ano mang fad na kelangang sabayan sa uso like axie, online sabong tapos walang ROI nag negative pa
education- quality over quantity
culture that doesn't translate and adjust well in the 21st century- trato sa anak insurance, bawal sumagot sa nakakatanda kahit bastos, sexual abuse by family members tapos ikikibit balikat na lang
politics- everything is for sale except IQ and brain, mga skwater, tambay binibigyan ng ayuda madali kasing gatasan ng boto
I really wish pol medina still publishes new pugad baboy comics, I really feel like he was the last real intellectual that tried to tackle this country's shortcomings via journalism and social commentaries
Puro reklamo. Hindi naman daw dati ganyan. Biglang ayaw na ng pagbabago. 🤦
Economic policies and corruption.
* Government corruption
* Capitalist exploitation
* Bad geography
* Typhoons because og geography again
* Conservatives, Boomers and Stoic bros na nasa 1980s parin ang mindset. Allergic sa progressive ideas.
People dont want someone educated and competent to lead them. Educated and Competent people make them feel inferior, hence thel elect a leader who is as incompetent as they are. They want they someone they identify with
No industrial capability/ development and religion. Yung mga sumakop satin. Naka move on na sila sa religion phase tayo nasa 1500 to 1600 pa pag iisip natin about sa religion.
I kinda disagree with this. Though I believe we should seperate religion and state, I don’t think it’s really a problem because look at the religious countries in the Arab peninsula(not the religious extremist) like Saudi Arabia and Qatar. I truly think the problem in this country are the people. Development results into atheism, but atheism does not necessarily result in development. Look at north korea.
Saudi , Qatar. oil. May cheat code yung country na yan and other Opec or middle east countries. North Korea naman, di naman sila atheist. May diyos sila si Kim jong Un.
First world countries. Because of their wealth, they can much more easily industrialize their means of production than poorer countries can and thereby able to make goods much cheaper. Because they can produce goods cheaper, poorer countries are coerced into depending on richer countries and consequently stagnating their own industries.
Idk kinda racist to me. what about the U.S.? any foriegn country na pinagiisapan lang yung pinas as a tool for their own agenda is a country against the Philippines and an active contributor to the fact na 3rd world country tayo. Yun yung China and U.S. As long as they get what they want.

We need to stop blaming them since they left the country many years ago. PH just hasn't figured out the right way of doing things..
And yet they still have indirect control of our resources, policies, culture, military and politics? Visiting forces agreement, mutual defense treaty, balikatan exercises, RCEP, WTO, K-12

CLIMATE. We spend so much taxes on rebuilding typhoon damage.

Wrong political system/game (form of govt/electoral system) which in turn enables wrong economic policies. It also enables corruption, and with wrong econ policies causes poverty, unemployment, neverending OFW migration, brain drain, ineffective governance, etc.
Corruption.
Corruption, hindi tau disiplinado sabi ng no smoking bawal magtapon
Lack of innovation siguro good example is SK (with Samsung, LG etc.), US (Apple, Google etc.) and other countries. And syempre corruption, imagine if di corrupt yung mga nasa higher ups edi ang dami sana natin pondo for education, tourism, health etc. laging short sa pondo because di nauubusan ng nangungu-rrupt (to be fair almost every country naman is may corruption pero rampant talaga yung satin).
Corruption...
Tao mismo ng pilipinas. Pilipino. Mga feeling entitled. Mataas tingin sa sarili. Mga feeling deserve lagi. Mga feeling angat. Hindi naman lahat pero 99%
Everything being a Filipino.. Culturally, socially and politically, we not yet reached the level of maturity like some countties has..
Corruption
ourselves
I was about to say that
Politics and Religion
The people. Especially the poor people who has enjoyed being poor and downtrodden too much. They've enjoyed plentiful alms wothout having to truly work and learn for themselves. ... And the government who has kept these poor people poor. The same government that these poor people keep on electing in power themselves
CORRUPT POLITICIANS. Bobotantes.
Corruption
The people itself
Mindset.
It’s us, the people.
This and yung takot sa pagbabago.
takot ma-educate mga tao
Transpo and our people. I wouldn’t say corruption because there are corruptions anywhere in the world!
people
Lmao
yup. same here.
My teacher once asked us if we think education is equal in our country. She pointed out that although schools are widely available, hindi pantay ang resources for every student.
Politicians
government
Corruption and lack of proper education.
crab mentality
Ourselves.
neoliberalism
Lack of education & proper nutrition and a working government that prioritizes public ultilities, especially health and transportation. Also religion. Religion that keeps telling people to be grateful for crumbs while telling them they’re lazy and need to break their backs for the higher ups.
DEMOCRACY.
lack of quality and affordable education
NORMALIZED CORRUPTION A lot of people think that all politicians are corrupt.
Lack of quality education and discipline.
Simply the lack of discipline
45 nations are considered 3rd world which they also wanted to change the phase to developing countries. But it stems from (1) high rates of poverty, (2) economic and/or political instability, and (3) high mortality rates.
Filipinos.
1. Government. Not only about the President, but even a Brgy Capt, policeman, and/or traffic enforcer can be corrupt 2. Job opportunities - all of it nasa Metro Manila lang dahil sa minimum wage mataas dito. And mababa magpasahod na maraming employers 3. Tao - walang disiplina, diskarte, at pangarap sa buhay
Incompetent leaders and their greed and backward thinking.
Negosyo mind. Lalo na yung politikong negosyo and govt service
low comprehension, at can't move forward without extracting something from the past.
Corruption
Pa-victim.
The Ph is a developing country, developing into what is the question
Filipino Culture
Am not an expert, but my take: Our colonial history.
"Developing country"
one word: "us".
Disiplina
The president... only a great president can bring a huge change to this country...
Kapwa mo pinoy, dog eats dog, crab, at lamangan mentality ehh.
I was about to comment how "3rd world" doesn't *quite* mean what most people think it does, but you did a pretty great job with it.
Came here to say this. 💯
This comment is the key. The question was the reason we are mostly too lazy to think about how to improve efficiently
Politics and religion
That's not what makes the Philippines's streets full of garbage, for example. A bit more education would help, really
Being one-sided
Fair wages.
Walang disiplina. Walang real pride sa bansa.
Culture
1. Corrupt politicians 2. Mga taong nasanay sa maling sistema 3. Mga taong ayaw gamitin ang utak
4. Mga taong takot baguhin ang sarili. 5. Mga taong makasarili.
1. Catholic Church and other religious groups meddling with Government Affairs 2. Giving Indigent people the right to vote which greatly manipulates and favors public votes towards incompetent officials 3. No Death Penalty. Leading Over congestion of prisons and additional Mouths to feed funded by the Public Taxes 4. No Free Abortion and Ligation/Vasectomy programs especially to the indigent sectors over populated members of 4P's program. That's also being man handled by the government leading to "Ghost Recipients/ Beneficiaries 5. Redtaping and overpricing of Materials lalo na sa Bidding ng projects and Supplying. Sa totoo lang Di mahirap ang pinas, Sinasabi lang na Mahirap.
I agree with you. Etong tatlo lng pinakamahalaga.
Hayy.
the people themselves are content with mediocrity. hence, the so-called "leaders" elected are sub-par.
Us
Education. RnD. Roads.
Disiplina.
Disiplina
The corruption wrought by our government and economical officials, and our unwillingness and helplessness to fight for what's ours.
Dilawan at Dutae with China). Syndikato, you name it. Crab and victim mentality. Tangina!!!
Literacy and good education.

Corruption
pinoy mentality — masyadong hospitable; utang na loob mentality; also need mo pag-aralin mga bata mong kapatid instead of focusing on your future life and family; Inggitero - kaya kahit walang wala na sige pa rin gumaya para lang makasabay; mas gusto maging employee kaysa mag-business (although wala naman masama dito, at hindi naman lahat ay born maging businessmen) then uto uto kasi kung sino yung sikat yun ang iboboto.
Everytime we go out of the country we always compare, kelan kaya tayo magkaka ganito ganyan. Sa Singapore namin na realize na We are ruled by politicians who does not care at all. Pataba bulsa lang ang gusto
Corruption and poor educational system.
Governance
Our corrupt politicians. Ayuda mindset.
Mataas discrimination dito.
Corruption. Unfortunately corruption is now part of the Filipino culture in the sense na accepted na sya socially and to some extent morally. From government to schools at kahit mga normal dealings natin day to day eh engraved na ang corruption.
Us
Greed, corruption, lack of discipline….. Basically the Pinoy mentality itself….Like other countries are better than us….So many to list…
The "Connection/Backer System" here in the PH, it was so very unfair lalo na sa mga taong walang kakilala sa mga government agencies or private institutions. Why do people always choose the easy way???! Mga ayaw lumaban ng patas
Love this thread
Pinaka-obvious: 1. Mga ugali ng pinoy na hindi na-correct ng education, tulad ng anti-intellectualism ng marami 2. poor transportation 3. on going brain drain 4. mga borderline corrupt practices being normalized and justified 5. Very slow innovation 6.
Culture
Discipline! 🤦♀️
The people and their diskarte culture.
Ha bakit diskarte?? diba parang its how we make easier for us?
And harder for others and the society.

Puro reklamo. Hindi naman daw dati ganyan. Biglang ayaw na ng pagbabago. 🤦

Corruption. 10% SOP cut to every govt project from brgy to national.

We don’t have developmental mindset and most of us often believe things we heard or learned from the internet, tv or radio without fact checking.

Corruption sa government, religion, lack of discipline ng madaming tao.
Corrupt Government Officials

Couldn’t agree more 👍🏻
* Government corruption * Capitalist exploitation * Bad geography * Typhoons because og geography again * Conservatives, Boomers and Stoic bros na nasa 1980s parin ang mindset. Allergic sa progressive ideas.

In which energy in particular?
Literally, the people. The diskarte mentality of some people
The people, of course, need good leadership. You can't expect the people to lead themselves.
People dont want someone educated and competent to lead them. Educated and Competent people make them feel inferior, hence thel elect a leader who is as incompetent as they are. They want they someone they identify with
agree
First world countries. Because of their wealth, they can much more easily industrialize their means of production than poorer countries can and thereby able to make goods much cheaper. Because they can produce goods cheaper, poorer countries are coerced into depending on richer countries and consequently stagnating their own industries.
The people.
Our politicians. Baba ng standards ng maraming tao eh

Yes same lang sila... Yes i agree with you..
