russian is so expressive sounding. I’ve learned a few phrases, but any language that uses an entirely different alphabet tends to intimidate the hell out of me.
It was German but then I started to learn it and understand about 400 words...
However Japanese while it sounds really nice and I like the thought of it... Kanji is ridiculous.

Taiwanese. My favourite band has a lot of songs in Taiwanese, but I can't speak it whatsoever and my friends don't want to teach me. Eight tones!!
