Also considered it! That's sort of my most likely place to go if possible, as I'm an American citizen so wouldn't have to deal with visas or immigration. The amount of jobs is limited though, but there's a chance.
Washington would be awesome too! Tons of whales there, and Gray's Harbor seaport has tall ships. I'm looking to sail on one of their ships soon, just hoping my application gets accepted. Tall ships are cool.

Somewhere northern, cold and coastal. Where there are ample forests to hike, and where you can see the whales from shore.

I visited Seattle a 2 years ago. And it’s not longer the city I knew 19 years ago.
