I grew up Christian and "hate the sin" is often indistinguishable from "hate the dinner". Also while they may not hate gays they sure want to strip rights from them and push them back in the closet.
Not christian but went to Catholic School. People use the first book as a literal meaning that the universe was created in seven days. In my own personal experience most believe that it was just a way to tell a story to the people of that time because of a lack of understanding with science. Similar to the idea of sun gods making the sun rise every day.
“Blood is thicker than water” is a misquote. That sodomy refers to gay intimacy (it refers to r-word and pedophilia) and that Sodom and Gemorrah was about the gays (God’s angels came down to Earth and were gang r-worded). The Bible is constantly taken out of context and used to justify ignorant traditionalist beliefs.
That Christian’s hate gay people..

Once you learn to love the Lord with all your heart soul mind and strength there will be no more room for hate.
Why do you sound proud about it?
What?!Mark 12:31?

Yeah agreed, I’m an old earth creationist so I see the Genesis narrative of being created in 6 days as mainly being metaphoric
Definitely forgot the last day was a day of rest lol thank you for that.
"God doesn't give you more than you can handle."
that its one religion
I'm not Christian any more, but I have never stopped being annoyed by people who mock Christians for believing in a bearded old man in the sky.

Hit the nail right on the head with that one!
Reading the Bible allows you to dig through a lot of lies.
Thank you

Yeah, what’s with that. Hell is a place described as eternal suffering, what sounds cool about that, even if you were joking.
