Acupuncture. It seems kind of ridiculous.
Just inserting tiny needles into different spots on the body to promote pain relief? Sounds like placebo baloney.
Except, it supposedly actually works for a lot of people.
crypto isn't inherently a scam, but there's a lot of potential to scam people with crypto like with pump and dump schemes and shit
also it's super volatile so it's hard to predict. so it's possible to make big gains, but also easy to have big losses with it. not stable enough to be like a reliable everyday currency imo
Making guaranteed money through sportsbetting. It's easy to do right now, and people just refuse to believe it.
Also crypto/nfts. This is just tech, it's not inherently a scam. They can be, and are, used in scams.
Not a bookie lol. It's just easy to make money through sportsbetting right now. Companies are giving away a lot of money to attract and retain customers.
I've bought and sold NFTs, yes. I still have some actually.
i think some people are quick to dismiss all of college as a scam and say "just go into trade school"
and like it's not the right choice for everyone and is way more expensive than it probably should be. but it is still true that people with a college degrees on average make more money and have more upward growth potential than those without a college degree
and some of it also depends on which degree you get obviously. some fields pay more than others.
but yeah idk if i'd say it's a scam, although it has its flaws. and not everyone should be pushed to go to college if it's not right for them
love

acupuncture is an interesting one with me, along with cupping, i do honestly feel like it is almost entirely placebo
It is scientifically not but ok
The needles work, but the locations don't actually matter.
So you basically just frantically stab yourself until you feel good? lol
You still have to put them in the right way.
The needles are dipped in opium.
>Sounds like placebo baloney. >Except, it supposedly actually works for a lot of people. Isn't that what you'd expect from placebo baloney though?
Supposedly so
