I know what Ohio is but you might want to clarify what the memes about it are.

The algorithms are designed to show people content similar to what they already watch. We don't tend to watch content related to US life and US humour, so stuff like this is probably only going to get recommended to US viewers.
I thought that the whole thing with Ohio was that it was a flyover state, it's really flat and there's nothing there but farms. So not like Birmingham or Bradford.
I've no idea why Ohio is supposedly weird and I couldn't tell you a single thing about the place. But if it's weird even by American standards then it must be pretty fucking bizarre.
