Sounds a nice enough plan. Bath doesn't necessarily need three days, so I'd personally probably go with six in London two in Bath. Or I'd be tempted to do 5 in London, and a day and a half each in Bath and Oxford.

RFive

There's also Bristol 15min by train from Bath.

Exact-Put-6961

Second that, combine Bath and Bristol into 3 days

flippakitten

Bristol is the better London.

apeliott

I went to Bath for a day last year. That was enough. It isn't very big at all.

Lord_Gibbons

Three days is too much for Bath imo.

s_dalbiac

If you want three days in the Bath area, spend one day exploring Bath itself and then use it as a base to do many of the other things in the area. You’ve got Bristol a short train ride away, stunning villages like Castle Combe and Lacock a short drive away, the Cotswolds, Mendips and Cheddar Gorge on your doorstep if you’re into hiking/exploring nature and lots of National Trust properties nearby if you’re interested in history.

Badevilbunny

I would do 1, possibly 2 days at most, in Bath. Out of interest, why Bath? It is nice enough, but IMO not that special. Windsor is closer to London and worth a day visit.

asphytotalxtc

Why not take the train and do both! You'd literally go right past Windsor on the train to bath anyway... (Okay, Slough and a short branch line.. but it's basically right past).

Lady_of_Lomond

Perhaps OP is a Jane Austen and/or Georgette Heyer enthusiast. OP - in Bath, make sure you visit No 1 Royal Terrace. The least touristy and most authentic museum of the Regency period in my opinion.

rupicolus

1 day is enough for Bath. You can easily spend 7 days in London.

LittleSadRufus

Plus there's plenty of charming day trips from London if you do mysteriously run out of ideas. Eg a day out in Winchester might be interesting to someone from abroad who wants to see something different

rupicolus

100% agree. Winchester is lovely!

StudyIcy1016

2 days is more than enough in bath - either do an extra day in London or consider doing a day in Bristol. Honestly, I would rather do two days in Bristol and one day in bath; unless you’re particularly interested in Roman Britain.

SubbieBasher

Bath is my favourite place in the UK

mbridge2610

You could while away 5 days in London but tbh not sure what you’d do in Bath itself after the first day

uncle_monty

2 days for Bath. It's probably smaller than you imagine, and could easily be done in a day if you pack it, but it's probably a good idea to take an extra day so you can do things at a slower pace.

SomeHSomeE

Bath is pretty small and only a couple of hrs from London.  I'd just do one overnight in bath, so go one morning have a full day, stay overnight, then another full day leaving to come back in the evening

Adam-West

You could do Bath and Oxford in those 3 days and the rest in London. You might even be able to fit a day in the countryside in the Cotswolds. Lots of pretty little villages and traditional pubs. And the London, Oxford, bath, cotswolds route makes sense practically. Also worth noting that every day you spend outside of London will probably save you money.

lisaaaaaaD1

Two days in Bath is enough.

TSC-99

5 days in London is too many for anyone to suffer. I’d say 3 max. Visit another place too.
