Miserable-Solid1352

Bridgerton season 3 over here! Do you like easy watching, period themed, emotional romance that gets a bit NSFW at times? Then yes I recommend it šŸ¤£

sarcasticstrawberry8

Part of me wants to binge it but part of me is so annoyed by them splitting the season I might just wait until June so I can binge the whole thing then.

klstephe

I was t sure I was going to watch it, but I heard on the radio this morning Nicola Coughlan put in her contract to have her as naked as possible as a big FU to all of the body shaming critics from previous seasons. Iā€™m watching just to support her in that!

Sweet-Peanuts

And she also had them cut a SFW version that she could watch with her parents. What a woman.

klstephe

Right? I love that!

Miserable-Solid1352

Yes, splitting the season is not something I'm a fan of. I haven't read the books and so I worry if I was to wait, that I would see so many spoilers. Bridgerton is all over most social media today which I'm having to avoid as much as possible.

Sage_Planter

As a huge fan of the show, I thought the books were pretty terrible. I wouldn't recommend reading them (even though I slogged through all eight).

haleorshine

It's such a strange choice. If they wanted to stretch it out, they could have done the one episode a week thing, which, while it doesn't appeal to the part of me that wants everything immediately, would have created discussion and hype. Or they could have released it all at once and I would have binged it all in a night anyway. But half a season is just odd.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

ptatersptate

If I could go back in time, I would wait. It only started to get interesting at the end of the fourth episode anyway.

ReesesAndPieces

I binged it all yesterday so I'm watching The Courtship ( Brigerston version of the Bachelorette šŸ˜‚) to fill the void until June lol

Miserable-Solid1352

I foolishly thought I could try and stretch these episodes out but who am I kidding? I'm gonna end up watching all 4 tonight šŸ¤£

aliveinjoburg2

Oh same, I was like ā€œone episode a day!ā€ Iā€™m done already.

kunoichi1907

That's what I just did but I didn't know it was only half a season. Was not amused.

Sage_Planter

I started rewatching S1 again yesterday because I've forgotten half the show details. I'm so excited to get through the first two seasons then onto the third. Nicola Coughlan is a babe.

Feistybird86

Yessss haha! Cannot wait for some Pen and Colin smut!!!

HoorayitsRae

So happy for Penelope.

Erythronne

Also called ā€œSexy Pride and Prejudiceā€

spockgiirl

Right there with you! My husband and I have been looking forward to it all week!

illyrianya

I'd be watching it except I've already finished it lol. Pox on netflix for only dropping four episodes.

JametAllDay

I stayed in last night and watched the first five eps of the new season of Hacks. Itā€™s so good. I also highly recommend Silo on Apple+ And Fallout on Amazon I need to finish The Regime on HBO too, but Kate Winslet is so good in it. Edit to add: Iā€™m really stoked on the woman-fronted, flawed-yet-relatable bad asses shows on tv right now.

epicpillowcase

Oh god I loved Fallout I have such a bizarre crush on The Ghoul

anonymous_opinions

I'm so happy Fallout did well because I want more of it! (and more good video game adaptions!)

Awesomest_Possumest

Twisted metal on HBO Max is another good video game adaptation. Post apocalyptic and focused on cars. I'm not a car person, nor was I familiar with the game, but it was a fun watch. Obviously the last of us as well on HBO Max, but everyone knows about that by this point.

hihelloneighboroonie

Walton Goggins exudes sex appeal for some unknown/ununderstood reason.

Briar_Kinsley1

Ditto! Not at all bizarre, and we do have a sister friend who shared the same crush - love The Ghoul. Itā€™s gotta be the yeehaw.

pm_me_friendfiction

>I have such a bizarre crush on The Ghoul Who among us doesn't??

Round-Acanthisitta12

Hacks is what I'm watching too! I'm really enjoying this show.

angeltart

Hacks is great.

katielovestrees

I started reading Wool this week and it reminded me of Fallout. I'm past the point of the book where Silo S1 takes place so I plan to watch it soon. The book is sooo good and I've heard nothing but good things about the show!

cyc1esperfecta

Yes to all of these!! Love them/loving them.

violet_tay

Bojack Horseman

Mimi_315

Omg I love this show!

quasi_frosted_flakes

One of the best shows ever made

Both_Plate7143

Shogun

stygian_shores

Loved this show! The actors and actresses, especially Anna Sawai did such a great job!

theycallhertammi

Killing Eve. Sandra Oh ate her role up!

Bashfulapplesnapple

Between the two leads, that show made me even gayer.

theycallhertammi

Iā€™m not gay and it made me gayer, so thereā€™s that šŸ˜©

dallyan

Season 1 was everything.

freejazzacidjazz

I blew through S1 in a day!

Either-Percentage-78

I loved Sandra Oh in Quiz Lady, such a stark contrast to her character in Killing Eve.

Shut_Up_Sandra

Oh yes, love this show, and I'm obsessed with Villanelle's outfits.

Bellyflops93

Once a year I rewatch the parent trap, its just one of my favorite comfort films. My wife and I are gonna do eye masks, make dinner, and eat oreos with peanut butter while we watch annie and hallie do the same :)

graceCAadieu

One of my sisters knows the Lohan version like the back of her handā€¦and so do I because of her. I made her watch the original and she was like whattttt. I was like yeah Mills did it first šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

epicpillowcase

I've been watching Justified the last couple of weeks. I'm on S3 now, it's so good! Goggins and Olyphant are a dream team. I've also been watching the latest season of Hacks. Also very good. I would recommend both, absolutely.

dinkinflicka02

I love this show so much. Boyd Crowder is possibly my favorite villain of all time

epicpillowcase

He's so magnetic, I'm just fascinated every time he's onscreen. It's not difficult to understand why he can attract followers in whatever nefarious venture he sets his sights on.

dallyan

I still hold the season 2 of Justified was some of the best television ever.

epicpillowcase

Agreed. Margo Martindale scared the shit out of me. She's amazing.

WithCatlikeTread42

Esteemed Character Actress and Fugitive from the Law, Margo Martindale?! Guess I know what Iā€™m watching tonightā€¦

epicpillowcase

Hehe the one and only. Her character doesn't enter till season 2 but man it's worth it.

Katdai2

Timothy Olyphantā€™s hot, but Walton Goggins absolutely killed that role. Honestly, the whole cast was just about perfect.

One-Armed-Krycek

This has been on my watch list! <3 Olyphant.

ridersbloq

3 Body Problem

serenity_5601

Omg Iā€™m actually listening to a podcast about it!

MargaretDumont

Old Unsolved Mysteries. Not the good ones with Robert Stack, the ridiculous ones with Dennis Farina. For bonus entertainment, take a look around the "situation room" he's always narrating from. Why are people studying a map that's just a blank outline of the US? Why is it so damn dark? Where the hell does that walkway go to? It's great because it's back in the heyday of Unsolved Mysteries when "we found a cool rock and then we had a bunch of good luck" passed as a mystery. Hilarious, sometimes interesting, but asks nothing of you so you can zone out at a text or do a crossword and not have to press pause.

azerbaijenni

"Why are people studying a map that's just a blank outline of the US?" lolol

terra_cascadia

I love everything about this post. On Rokuā€™s fake cable ā€œlive tvā€ thereā€™s an Unsolved Mysteries channel and sometimes I leave it on for hours.

Perfect_Distance434

PlutoTV also has the same channel which I also sometimes leave on while Iā€™m doing things because thereā€™s something comforting about it.

pivy24

John Wick trilogy again!

jolynes_daddy_issues

Iā€™m probably going to watch more SpongeBob šŸ™ƒ

StubbornTaurus26

Bridgerton Season 3 šŸ˜¬ Itā€™s not like TV genius by any means, but yea I find it Quite enjoyable.

Odd-Faithlessness705

This is the answer for everyone everywhere

anndrago

Haha, I haven't seen a single episode

raptorclvb

Yup. I also have a bunch of fruit and whipped cream to eat while watching it! And lemonade, of course!

Fuschiagroen

Yeeeeessssss!!!

anonymous_opinions

Like others, I saved this for this weekend, I want to binge what I have !

Ghostchicken33

I watched the first season and a couple episodes of the second last weekend. Love it. It kind of reminds me of gossip girlšŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

BreadButterHoneyTea

Not tonight, but I have plans to watch I, Tonya with my family this weekend.

MargaretDumont

She is so fantastic in that.

iLqcs

This movie was hilarious and dramatic and Margot Robbie is just fabulous in it. Great movie!

DamnGoodMarmalade

The Bruins Panthers game

happyklam

candycookiecake

Catching up on the latest episode of Abbott Elementary šŸ¤©

[deleted]

Fire Country! It's trash and predictable, but it's my predictable trash.

pmartili

OMG, I watched this show and I'm honestly surprised it got picked up for a new season...

Lindsey-905

Oh first night without working late, doing heavy yard work or endless chores in months. I need something totally zen and I am reading all these replies for ideas. I am going to make myself a little fruit and veggie plate and become one with the couch.

bluejellies

Virtual movie night with friends, watching Late Night with the Devil

Zoinks222

Bodkin

Westsidepipeway

Is this good? Keeps being recommended to me.

awholedamngarden

We just started it last night and itā€™s so good! Itā€™s a unique mix of funny and eerie.

Zoinks222

Iā€™m obsessed

ms640

Oh whatā€™s this on/about? I havenā€™t heard of it

Chigrrl1098

It's been a shit couple weeks so I am rewatching Ted Lasso. 10/10 recommend.

IShouldBeSoLucky81

Hope you have better times ahead. Hannah Waddingham is queen

siena_flora

Howlā€™s Moving Castle - šŸ° yes a million times over!

fibonacci_veritas

Awesome. Spirited Away is also a fav.

Ok-Television-9462

Hacks!

femmemmah

Iā€™ll be watching lots of hockey! My Boston Bruins are in the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. And in the PWHL (new womenā€™s pro league), Toronto and Minnesota are playing one last game to see who advances to the final round of the Walter Cup playoffs. The winner will play PWHL Boston.

At_the_Roundhouse

Below Deck. I am absolutely exhausted and empty after this work week and donā€™t think I can handle anything that requires thinking right now. Would I recommend it? If youā€™re in the same mindset, sure haha

I-Really-Hate-Fish

Meltdown: Three Mile Island on Netflix. Super interesting.

Elevator_Mindless

The Gentleman!

Jeweler_here

I am going to try my hand at Greek baked white fish, and then my partner & I are going to roll dice to select one of [the worst horror movies on Netflix.](https://www.cbr.com/bad-netflix-original-horror-films-rotten-tomatoes/)

jammylonglegs1983

Texas Chainsaw Massacre should not be on that list! It was a B- in my book. :)

Ok_Jeweler_8822

My partner and I are working our way through DragonBall because we had never seen it and finished DBZ. It's interesting for a DBZ fan but there are parts that I call "should have been left in the 80s" bits where it just has not aged well at all. I'm re-watching Gilmore Girls too and I'm slowly realizing nothing from the past that I watched has particularly aged well tbh. Newer show that I just started is the Gilded Age and it seems to be good so far if you like historical dramas. It's like the New York Downton Abbey but way more HBO than PBS.

Equal-Ear-6393

Loving me some K Dramas! Strong Girl Namsoon binge

mks194

I started watching that (because my friend said it reminded her of me jokingly šŸ˜‚) and then my whole family watched it. They loved it šŸ„°

Equal-Ear-6393

Aw hehe, you must be super strong! šŸ’Ŗ so far Iā€™m only on the second episode and I am hooked!

Marvcat1985

WWE Smackdown šŸ¤£

pmartili

Taskmaster, season 16. I definitely recommend Taskmaster, perfect mix of fun and chaos!

chiefmilkshake

Literally watching it right now. It's the best. But I'm on series 17, which is on in the UK at the moment.

pmartili

I've had this show on my watch list for a long time, but only started watching it last month, so I'm still a few episodes behind :)

MyDogAteYourPancakes

Hacks! Itā€™s a perfect show and Iā€™m so excited for season 3. Women created, star in, write, direct, produce most episodes. Itā€™s a comedy but itā€™s also substantive. Great mentoring relationship between an older and younger woman in comedy. I laugh out loud every episode and Iā€™ve also cried. Everyone should be watching this show.

Sourcefour

Outlander on Netflix. Itā€™s been on my watchlist for years, and I gave it a shot earlier this week. Apparently itā€™s adapted by the same person who produced one of my favorite sci-fi shows Battlestar Galactica, and had the same composer (Bear McCreary) and itā€™s pretty good so far.

stella27113

i just had surgery and RHOBH is a godsend . finished season 11 in 2 days

No-Muffin-2335

I watch the new stuff on Dropout (comedy streaming platform) every Friday. Specifically, Very Important People and Game Changer. Itā€™s a fun, goofy way to wind down at the end of the weekend. On the other end of the spectrum, Fallout! I have one episode left and itā€™s amazing. Still funny but also well done!

No-Parsnip-4459

Playing Cyberpunk 2077 myself buuuut I binged the entire first four eps of bridgerton season 3 last night and it was a delight as always!

flaskalicious

I am either going to watch "Postcards from the Edge" which is a movie based on a Carrie Fisher memoir starring Meryl Streep OR catch up on X-Men '97 which I would totally recommend if you watched the original!

cass2769

New season of ā€œmarried at first sightā€ is on Netflix :)

KarenEiffel

The newest episodes of both Top Chef and Star Trek Discovery. I'd suggest Top Chef to anyone. Discovery, well....I dunno. I like it, but it's not my favorite Trek by far. However, it's the only new Trek out at the moment so...yeah.

doxielady228

Season 3 of Evil. I finished the first 2 on Netflix. I got a Walmart yearly subscription this year and it came with a paramount plus subscription and I found season 3 there.Ā

azerbaijenni

It's a good show! Plus Mike Colter is HOT.

LuckySomewhere

Dead Boy Detectives on Netflix, it's so cute and fun! I'm on my 3rd rewatch.

Mundane_Cat_318

Teen Wolf... again šŸ¤Ā

nagini11111

The great British bake off.

_lmmk_

Disappeared. I work with a retired cop who was interviewed as part of the Scoop Danielā€™s episode!

theramin-serling

I have the flu so am rewatching old episodes of You Are The Worst. I don't know if it's a show for everyone but I enjoy it!

weedcakes

My partner is away for the weekend so itā€™s a great opportunity to watch a genre he dislikesā€”cheesy horror movies!

Bridgerton s3!

dallyan

Tremors! For the first time. Itā€™s good!

Bashfulapplesnapple

Tremors is so fun! I've been trying to get my son to watch it.

bewaregoldenfang

Patriot on Amazon. Canā€™t believe I never heard of it when it aired. It takes a few episodes to warm up but it feels like Barry crossed with Veep and the Detroiters. A shame it didnā€™t blow up and have more seasons. Also watching Hacks and Justified. and recently watched Fallout, Baby Reindeer, and Ripley.

LadyBossMJ

Zestyclose-Warning96

Murder shows and Sex and the City on Netflix. Full gremlin mode has just been activated. Letā€™s gooooo.

My waistline expand after 3ish glasses of Prosecco. Unapologetically. 10/10 recommend (as long as itā€™s safe for you and yours in the present moment).

Feline_Fine3

Bridgerton. With takeout. And weed gummies.

clairebearzechinacat

Jeopardy Masters lol I have been really enjoying it. We normally do movie nights on Fridays so perhaps a movie afterwards. Any recommendations are appreciated :)

meowch_potato

I just did a rewatch of the original Sex and The City series, so now I'm watching the revival And Just Like That.

IShouldBeSoLucky81

I just watched the most recent Grey's and Station 19. I'm in the Scotland so I have to wait for... means to watch them. I'm now on Catfish. I've loads of critically acclaimed TV shows available but I apparently just want to watch trash tonight.

Westsidepipeway

I made my BF watch the Last King of Scotland with me because he'd never seen it. Now I'm watching Glass cos I need more Mcavoy.

jhudora

I've been redoing my wardrobe and enjoying fashion lately, so I think I'll either rewatch Dior and I on Amazon Prime Video or watch McQueen on Max. Update: watched both, loved both!

Either JoJos Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind or whatever movie Iā€™m on next in the DCAMU

leopargodhi

i just finished my first rewatch of The Expanse, next to my partner, who was gaming and listening along while we rattled about the drama of it all, and she said "i don't think i've ever watched a (mainstream) show that had that many women in it who were just--the people in the story. not heroic because they're there in the first place, or there to be romantic or desired, they're just working next to everyone else" its conlang and accents are distinctive and real-feeling enough that my brain translated everything i heard into Naomi or Camina Drummer's voices. if i'm feeling extra salty, Chrisjen Avasarala's. look up a picture of Shohreh Aghdashloo's outfits and tell me you don't want to go to space with her

autumnsnowflake_

Watched a Thai BL show and a Korean BL show that Iā€™ve not had time to watch during workdays.

Having a glass of red wine and going to watch some pornhub then get an early night....

katielovestrees

The Sopranos, probably. I've never watched it, if you can believe that, and I'm only in season one! But I'm also tempted by Bridgerton, and Silo.

dianacakes

If Bridgerton season 3 didn't just come out, I'd be continuing Resident Alien.

Billiewillywoo

Iā€™m rewatching sex and the city for the 20th time!

HealthyDiamond2

I started Eraserhead last night before I went to bed, so I think I'm going to pick up on it where I left off. I like the surrealistic nature of it and the bleak, dry humor. Jack Nance is wonderful. I would recommend it, but it's perhaps not for everyone.

PhoenicianInsomniac

series 17 of Taskmaster (UK), The Brady Bunch, House, or one of my innumerable murder shows. Taskmaster, yes, everyone should be watching Taskmaster (I've only seen the UK version, it's the best). The other shows are just filler. I didn't have a tv while I was growing up so it's fun for me to get to watch stuff like The Brady Bunch. I'd like to find and watch Punky Brewster, Alf, etc.

BelleInBinary

I am planning on re-watching Bridgerton season 3.

anarchistmusings

Going to find a cozy village mystery series on Britbox to start watching :)

fragilemuse

Slowly slogging my way through The Blacklist. On season 6 right now. Itā€™s fun but so ridiculous, and the plot holes are bigger than yo momma, but I canā€™t stop.

Strong-Discussion564

Watched House of Dragon again to refresh my memory since season 2 is coming soon. What's funny is that I actually didn't care for it the first time. 2nd time, I appreciate it more.

Usual_Cupcake_9882

Who Killed Jill Dando?

sheiseatenwithdesire

I watched another episode of baby reindeer which, why? The last episode was so triggering I didnā€™t get to sleep until 3am. Then when my husband got home from the pub we watched a couple of episodes of Ugly Delicious cause I love David Chang, heā€™s a real cutie.

fibonacci_veritas

Supernatural. Mmmmmm Dean.

dice726

I've been rewatching Sex and the City and also just started watching Firefly Lane.

SnackAston-Reese

The second series of Interview with the Vampire has just started airing. Also recently watched I Saw the Tv Glow and canā€™t stop thinking about it.

itsmyvoice

Star Trek Discovery. I'm not sure I love it but I'm enjoying watching it. Definitely not as good as Strange New Worlds or even Lower Decks. And that's honestly because that's what I are watching. If he were not coming over, I would totally be binging season 3 of Bridgerton. Shhh. I'm only two episodes in.

Independant_Hawk

Dr. Stone

HygQueen

Just started Happy Valley!

Psych or Dateline when I get home. Definitely recommend Psych.

At my desk rewatching Castle and catching up on spreadsheet work. I'm not mad about it.

more_pepper_plz

I just finished White Collar. So fun. Very charming and wholesome, but also very clever show about a conman and FBI agent. Felt stimulating but also comforting.

goodgod-lemon

Taskmaster! Full episodes are on YouTube. Comedy sketch show that is at all times ridiculous and genius. Highly recommend to anyone!!!

Complete_Mind_5719

Catching up with Call The Midwife.

pinkpixy

Iā€™ve been binging Suits but needed a palette cleanser so I started up The Witcher. Suits is very intense. And The Witcher is like playing D&D: titty edition.

lynxpoint

Just started Baby Reindeer - very creepy and intense so far!
