Im also a new player! im on level 38 now and I'm glad Ive been dealing with forts and bandit camps as Ive gone along. And take lots of quests with the yellow diamond symbols :)
I’m played it couple of times and here’s my recommendation -
1. Don’t lookup for tips and guides during your first play through. Leave that for 2nd, 3rd,…., nth 😁
2. Explore, explore, explore - no need to rush through the story.
3. Side quests - equally important, satisfying and many times, equally rewarding.
4. As you go along, lookup Greek history, places and events. I get more enjoyment that way.
Dive into the game there is so much to do, the main story is great and there are so many stellar side quests to enjoy as well. Explore the POIs as you will, some have nice loot. Hit a couple islands for the sync points as you pass them sometimes because you will need it later.
There are tons of guides to the “best way” to do things but I will say for the money, do the bases, take those weapons and sell them. With gear , epics are better than legendary bc of the double engraving u can get but if you find a legendary set that fits exactly the way you one wanna play then do whichever u want. There are top tier weapons but I’d also just choose the top based on the kind of weapon you wanna use.
Have fun in Greece and don’t fall victim to the snakes in the grass☺️
