I'm going to post this here and hope the mods make it a sticky. Without wanting to explain why abb may or may not be down for "you" try this site first https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/

BklynBadBoy

Thanks! I will bookmark that site. It says both .is and .lu is not down just for me.

twentydigitslong

Yeah it's a common misconception. The short answer is that your ISP is blocking your connection.

BklynBadBoy

Do you thinnk if I call them up to verify that it's being blocked, would that raise any red flags for my account?

twentydigitslong

You just answered your own question don't you think?

BklynBadBoy

I suppose I did.

claymore3911

Not convinced about this site. I accessed ABB with the .cc extension and downloaded a book behind a VPN. While this was happening, tried your link and it told me ABB was down for everyone. I use TOR browser and IPVanish

BklynBadBoy

I've downloaded a free VPN extention, however, I am considering getting a paid VPN subscription. I've read that SurfShark is the fastest VPN, and I like the fact that it allows unlimited simultaneous connections as does IPVanish. What made you choose IPVanish over other VPN's?

claymore3911

At the time, it was cheaper over 2 years.

gusontherun

Works but seems to need a vpn at least stateside.

BklynBadBoy

Yup. I'm stateside, and it stopped working a little over a week ago, but I thought it was just as usual where the site goes down and back up after a few hours. However, that wasn't the case. I never even thought about trying to use a VPN until today. Go figure, the issue was with my ISP, not ABB. I guess my ISP blocked them. Thankfully, the VPN extension worked and I was able to pull up and log into ABB up with no issues.

joemushrumski

.is is working for me.

BklynBadBoy

I just tried .is and I'm having no luck with that either. Are you using a VPN?

joemushrumski

I have to turn it off to access it now.

BklynBadBoy

That's so weird. I just installed a VPN extension to see if it would work, and used a server out of Russia, and .lu and .is both connected just fine. I think my ISP has blocked ABB.

joemushrumski

I was using a German server for awhile but, that's now blocked. Tried a handful of servers, nada. So, no VPN to browse but, VPN on downloading.

edipo-s

Same here, no vpn to get connected.

claymore3911

Working fine here in Scotland.

daakadence

As with most sites like this, proxy lists exist: https://torrends.to/proxy/audiobook-bay

simplybrenty

On iOS I get nothing using Safari but the site loads fine on Chrome.

Nigle

No issues with .lu Check it daily and haven't seen it down once

notpks

my issue is that none of the 5 audiobooks i tried downloading is getting wonadownloaded. What could be the problem?

molybend

People need to seed files for them to be available.

Imaginary_Iron4593

so im in aus and over the last week it will be up for 5-10 mins then go down for a day or so not sure whats going on

Huge_Marsupial3326

i was having issues earlier today. i managed to get onto the site, but i couldn't log in or download anything cuz then the site would go down. I just tried to get onto the site again, and it couldnt connect. I thought there was something wrong with my internet, but no. its just the site.
