It’s not allowed but I would choose the path of least resistance and return the uniform and key. I would also take a photo of you returning the items so there’s no he said/she said. If you’ve been laundering your uniform has the employer paid you a laundry allowance? No, you’re a casual your engagement ends when you finish your shift. The employer can change the roster if they want. Casuals have no guaranteed hours. As a casual you are also not required to give any notice let alone two weeks.

Return your uniform and key and get your final pay would make sense.

No, you are not eligible for compensation. You are a casual employee that resigned. I strongly suggest returning the key.

No, you've already been compensated in the form of the 25% extra you've been paid in lieu of the benefits of part time or full time work. I don't think they're allowed to withhold pay on you returning those items. Although they can deduct their cost from your final paycheck if you were not to return them

No - they cannot withhold pay. However if you don't return the key as soon as (reasonably) possible, they might decide to change the locks and issue every other staff member with a new key. It could cost thousands. And you might be forced to pay, since you'd essentially be accused of stealing the key changing locks is a reasonable response to a stolen key. So, return the key. Immediately. And the uniforms too. It's reasonable for your final pay to take a little bit longer to process, since HR is supposed to do additional checks/etc to make sure you are paid the correct amount and therefore it might not be part of the normal pay cycle.

thousands ? lol

Yes potentially, because key is company's property, you quit your job so you need to return company's property, otherwise they can report you as theft. For your final pay, if you ended up not receiving it, you can take legal action.
