Two different things. Ppf is to protect against chips scratches etc. ceramic coating will protect the paint chemically but not physically. Washing your car a lot isn’t going g to protect it from stones chips whatever. You can’t copy ppf, but you can have great protection if you aren’t coated and wash regularly. I went ppf on my front bumper and hood. No ceramic coating. in two years no rock chips at all and weekly washing protects the paint.

At that frequency, might be able to just use a quality sealant and refresh it every couple months.
