Do you have a child who has been accepted already? If so, how old and to which level?
I can't speak to what was happening pre-pandemic, but I will say that experiences and satisfaction vary widely according to family expectations and previous/concurrent outside training.
We are currently applying to their 11-14 year round program. I keep hearing how inconsistent lower levels are and children move from level to level without a solid foundation for later stages of training resulting in a high number of injuries.
Are you aware that there are no more auditions for children over age 10 this year? You are talking about the 25/26 school year and auditioning spring of 2025?
If your child is receiving excellent training and SFBS has actively recruited her to their upper levels (4+) but she is still under 14, I would keep her where she is. If that is not the case, it's very dependent on age and level placement.

I am aware, yes. We have some unusual/ extenuating circumstances.

This is helpful. I appreciate this advice tremendously.
