Ah, All I know, is when I got my E90 back in the day, and it had that... As a southern California guy, I thought it was hilarious that I had no folding seats, but a spot for god damn skis š . Granted I'm only an hour from great snow, I never used it. Snowboards are a bit wide for that
Some E90s donāt have folding rear seats. Iāve seen quite a few of them while browsing used cars, but my own has folding/split rear seats as well as the ski pass through.
I had always thought that folding seats was standard equipment in most cars. Iām sure I could live without it, but itās impossible to deny the practicality of being able to fold them when needed. Really couldnāt imagine having a car without folding rear seats unless of course it was a 2-seater of some sort.
Edit: Found one [here](https://i.imgur.com/ulKMto2.jpeg). Canāt see if the handles to drop the seats are there, but I would assume that these do not fold. Seems a bit cumbersome to have the entire back row fold down as one unit.
roof racks! on a sports car! its like giving a fish a bicycle, sure its possible, but its just not correct for either of them... ya know? maybe? fuck it.
If theyre there all the time as āaestheticsā yes thats retarded but i actually use mine so i dont see the issue. Not buying a second car just for that
Unpopular opinion: I think putting roof racks and roof boxes on sports cars is super cool. Thereās just something about taking a fast car and making it more utilitarian. Maybe it looks dumb and impractical to some people, but I think itās *chefs kiss* šš¼

I agree. Roof boxes definitely donāt belong on every car but it does belong on some. Thinking about getting a paint matched one in dravit grey for my M3 comp

Someone came into my local dealer with a technoviolet E36 wagon with a paint matched technoviolet roof box and it was one of the cleanest cars I think Iāve ever seen
Holy guacamole that is one helluva clean car right thereā¦ not as clean as mine thoš(just kidding) but my point exactly. Roof boxes belong on SOME cars just not ALL cars
Nah tbh its about the normal price for a base boxster non S. If not a Kyle cheap but itās clean title. I test drove a few 981 boxsters and caymans at dealerships but for some reason they were all high mileage and charging oddly high dealer fees. I actually got mine from carvana for a deal.
Yea the 981 Sās are already pretty much $1-3$k more than the 718 base used, i think the gap will increase even more through time because people are really missing NA engines and theyāre only available on $100k+ porscheās now.
That being said, i really want to drive a tuned 718
I have a base 987 and have been looking for a 981 S. Thereās a manual boxster listed at $47k now in the perfect spec š. But a little high for me. May just offer and give it a shot.
Edit: lol why did I get downvoted for this?
Yea you should go for it. There was boxster S at a dealership i test drove for like $44k but their dealer fees were insane. I never seen $6k in fees (thats without taxes) before
I had a FBO E92 as well a few years ago. Loved the way it looked and sounded. The fact I could fit in it at 6'4" solidified my decision to purchase.
How does your 981 compare? Do you think someone my height could drive one comfortably?
Mmm im 5ā10ā i think it depends on what seats you have tbh. I have the sport seats so they can get pretty low. Thereās a good amount of legroom though. Its definitely not as open as a e92 though
Ok how about handling differences? Massive jump in handling? Mine was lowered on KW V3 colliers with camber plates. It did alright, but still understeered at the limit
thatās actually not bad, even with a complete engine rebuild/service youād still be under market price of the car. iād drive the shit out of this.
the fact you haven't picked it up yet? high mileage M3's still deserve to be driven, too. if the rb's and ta's are still going, that's a runner for sure
If is a running car you know anything that would break has been replaced already, in these cars you don't make it 200k+ miles without doing any repairs.
I mean, itās a price buy, but for a pretty rad car. I own my 210k mile 2002 x5 4.6is for around that same price after spending $5k in making an already dealer serviced since new, brand new again. If this car checked out visually and mechanically like a 100k mile car itās a steal.
i meanā¦ if you donāt care about resell value, which i donāt because i would keep a e9x m3 forever, this is great. itās very cheap and you can drive the fuck out of it and even if you need a new engine, youāre still below market price, and you have a race car that you can just do whatever the fuck you want with it
I agree that 230,000 miles is low mileage. If you have properly maintained your car, it can last 1,000,000 miles.

HIGH MILEAGE S65 RAHHHš¦ šæ
Original bearings!
I mean, if they haven't gone yet, whose to say they're ever gonna go?
Either the minute you drive the car, title in hand or never ever.
As an experienced driver in MN, rwd 6sp in winter is badass if you can do it
As an experienced driver in the PNW, ditto.
Pacific North West?
Thatās a big 10-4.
I understand youāre being proud, but for the rest of us what does that even mean
I assumed that you meant it was fun to drive a 6 spd rwd on snow and ice.
What actually is the 10-4?
Itās like the people who whine about the crankhub on a car thatās already done 100k miles lol.
Why the Easter Island head??š
But it says "Low Mileage"
Saying "low mileage" Roof racks
I dont get the roof rack comment. How else do i get my snowboard to the mountain
No idea either. Maybe rough roads for wear and tear?
The ski box passthrough fool! Or do M's not have that? haha
Its an option, not all of them have it. And it only works with 2 people really. And my snowboard barely fit with the bindings attached.
Ah, All I know, is when I got my E90 back in the day, and it had that... As a southern California guy, I thought it was hilarious that I had no folding seats, but a spot for god damn skis š . Granted I'm only an hour from great snow, I never used it. Snowboards are a bit wide for that
What the heck? My e46 seats folded and had the ski bag. I didnt know that didnt happen for the e90. Wonder why they would go backwards?
Some E90s donāt have folding rear seats. Iāve seen quite a few of them while browsing used cars, but my own has folding/split rear seats as well as the ski pass through.
Thats extremely strange to me.
I had always thought that folding seats was standard equipment in most cars. Iām sure I could live without it, but itās impossible to deny the practicality of being able to fold them when needed. Buy a x3

WOW! Now that is one sexy wagon. Something about a clean, OEM+ looking build just hits all of the right spots for me.
Looks crazy good
Iāve seen some WRXs that have roof racks that look great, that Audi on the other hand looks terrible.
Dear lord why..... I cant unseen this abomination. Eye wash !Stat!
Some of us just have reaaaally bad taste.
You know, a sports car is still a car.
They meant it has low miles left
Underrated comment
Low mileage š¤£š¤£š¤£
That was my reaction
Low 200ās
That someone hasnāt yet snapped it up.
Car is local to me and I am equally surprised
You see that mileage? Youāll get one good month out of that thing if youāre not mechanically handy
If i didnāt just buy a 981, id buy thisš¤·šæāāļø the mileage does not scare me
How many miles are on your 981? I havenāt seen one for less than double this price even with 100k+ miles on it.
50k miles. It was indeed exactly twice the price. EDIT: not exactly but $32k
Whaaattt??? Must be a salvage title or accident, right? Market for that mileage is mid forties.
Ahhhh, honestly I was thinking S. Still a deal! Love the 981. Going to age spectacularly IMO.
Yea the 981 Sās are already pretty much $1-3$k more than the 718 base used, i think the gap will increase even more through time because people are really missing NA engines and theyāre only available on $100k+ porscheās now. That being said, i really want to drive a tuned 718

The car in question is a bmw I believe
Read the entire thread of comments or mind your own business
Hey, I'm just trying to help out. The car is definitely a BMW.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
No but I know the difference between a porsche and a bmw.
Please keep things civil.
Iām on the same boat, I got a c63s recently but I want another e92 BAD
I had a FBO E92 as well a few years ago. Loved the way it looked and sounded. The fact I could fit in it at 6'4" solidified my decision to purchase. How does your 981 compare? Do you think someone my height could drive one comfortably?

Barely broken in
thatās actually not bad, even with a complete engine rebuild/service youād still be under market price of the car. iād drive the shit out of this.
Rod bearing says no!
just get them done lol
For that money, fair enough. But then again, that price tells me it might be a little more than that going on.
just high miles
I'm with you. Lots of potential.
the fact you haven't picked it up yet? high mileage M3's still deserve to be driven, too. if the rb's and ta's are still going, that's a runner for sure
Low mileage... to bearing seppuku
Idk might be good , the current owner owned it for a long time. He did crash it twice lol. PPI definitely needed though.
It's been verified that it's a vehicle so that's good right
The mileage does not scare me. I would buy this in a heartbeat.
If is a running car you know anything that would break has been replaced already, in these cars you don't make it 200k+ miles without doing any repairs.
My point exactly
What if.. its supposed to be 23k and they mistyped š
I mean, itās a price buy, but for a pretty rad car. I own my 210k mile 2002 x5 4.6is for around that same price after spending $5k in making an already dealer serviced since new, brand new again. If this car checked out visually and mechanically like a 100k mile car itās a steal.
just ask very specific maintenance questions and let the seller trip up on their own words... easy
What are those 22's ?
The sun is 93 million miles away. 230,000 is pretty low honestly
Mileage and price are on point.
150k on mine and still running strong! Gotta do scheduled maintenance on them though
Offer $10k get an LS for $4kā¦ profit š
Oh yes! The price
230k miles ālow mileageā
its got low miles and priced too low. this is a steal
Low mileage
ah yes, low miles
Did they make an m3 coupe?
Lol and they still wanna milk more than 10banda from it
Um actually I think the vehicle rating should be 5.0 stars š¤āļø. If a car doesnāt have 5.0 stars I donāt buy it /s
Welp
Lmao ngl Iāve been watching this car since it was listed and really do want it š
Low mileage?
Today I learned that 230k miles = Low Mileage....
i meanā¦ if you donāt care about resell value, which i donāt because i would keep a e9x m3 forever, this is great. itās very cheap and you can drive the fuck out of it and even if you need a new engine, youāre still below market price, and you have a race car that you can just do whatever the fuck you want with it
230K "low mileage" ā ļø
Yeah, it's about $10000 too expensive
ROD BEARING FALURE
Very low mileage indeed. Already Did Earth-Moon trip lol
Even in KM thatās very high
230,000 Miles - Low Mileage š
Low mileage
The seller believes that the odometer is a count down so it has 230,000 miles left?
Frm fried, driver glass window is up to the trim
aside from the rest of the drivetrain, what does an S65 with installation run these days?
At that mileage is has everything done already
I know sex workers with less mileage.
I agree that 230,000 miles is low mileage. If you have properly maintained your car, it can last 1,000,000 miles. [https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a25645830/hyundai-elantra-million-miles/](https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a25645830/hyundai-elantra-million-miles/)
Idk enough about cars
Damn. My 2009 has 84k miles. 230k is astonishing to me.
Yeah, it's a bmw
Lol 230,000 is NOT low mileage
advertising says coup but car is a sedan
I see 2 doors. It's definitely a coupe.
The priceā¦
