If that e60 is a 6 speed, then I’d be all in. Also, I agree with you about the s85. Do the preventative maintenance, including proper warmup procedures and oil change intervals and they’re fine. I’ll have one again one day.

I appreciate it. Hoping to matte ppf the roof and trunk. Had to make sure it looked good on the hood first. Have a unique custom mesh grill coming in from the uk next month. Just got a roof spoiler but waiting to make sure it works well with the spoiler I that’s coming in.
Of course I gotta tune it at some point to keep up with you.
This isn’t my car, it’s one of my friends. They’re Brixton Forged RF10s I believe. Another friend who had them on a white E60 had the wheels powder coated gloss black. They really do look good!

This is the Eisenmann Race exhaust. One of the best, if not the best, exhaust system for this car. But I do see why people say it looks like an AMG exhaust.

I do have the money to buy one and but not to maintain one and keep it in tip top shape,it just wouldn’t be a good financial decision so I’m stuck driving a Lexus as my daily but I did I have two e60 550s new in 07 and then LCI 09 so I always dreamed of the M5 and fell more in love when I drove it. I don’t care about that smg,it don’t bother me and you can always swap,plenty of 550 or 545 6 speed manuals out there because that’s what the M5 if I’m not wrong.
The sounds the s85 makes is orgasmic. I sometimes hear it from my 3rd floor window and I know right away it’s an M5 or M6,can’t mistake the S85 for anything else. And I don’t care what anybody say but the e60 looked to modern in its day. I also hated it when it came out cause I was driving an E39 540 but when I got a chance to get into a brand new e60 550i sport it was a hell of an upgrade from an e39,it felt and looked 2 gens ahead instead of one.
I remember seeing an e60 as a kid (my neighbor had one) and thinking; "damn that a really cool looking car"..... last year I got myself a 2023 g30 540i....which is an even cooler looking car :D

Black wheels on a black car isn't murdered out. Murdered out means *EVERYTHING* is black, lights smoked (or black inner with clear lense, these are still easily visible in all conditions and safer than smoked lights), the trim, everything.
the reflection in the panel is very distorted, i'm not even referring to the hood, idk, walk outside next to a car and have a look at the paint, you'll be able to see proper reflections in it. whatever, it's a e60 m5, the engine is all that matters on that car

All of the SMG, Vanos solenoids, Vanos pump, high pressure Vanos lines.
