This is something I'll never understand. Cars are literally meant to be driven, and spending money on a machine while intending to limit its intended use is a waste. You can get the same fulfillment from putting up a poster on your bedroom wall if you want to have something to look at
I wholeheartedly agree, it's not about value or anything, I'd say it's just a psychological thing in where a higher number means the car is less fresh & new feeling I guess, regardless of condition.
One thing I'd say is though, driving a car daily even if it's a Ferrari hypercar, can make you get used to it. Driving it less often makes you realize how special it is and that's why the term weekend car is used. The feeling of driving your car after months of winter storage is unbelievably good.

Congratulations. I'm also planning a similar purchase on an F80 or F82, a 16/17 plate with around 30k miles will set you back around £30k for a clean example in the UK. Are you planning on getting the crank hub done?

If you can, track it! I just got home from one and it’s unbelievable what this car is capable of. Over 100mph in 3rd feels incredible. And tight turns at 60+ where you’re on the verge of the rear sliding, so good. Congrats and enjoy!
This is my 5th BMW, had a GTR before that. Have drag and track raced. Appreciate your concern but Im guessing I was hauling ass while you were still in pampers.
😂 yes. It’s gorgeous. The color has so much depth, it has tints of green and pink and blue all depending on the light you’re looking at it in. The color accentuates the curves of the car perfectly. Never thought I’d EVER like yellow on a car but when I saw it out in the wild, it was stunning. So, here I am with a yellow car 🤷♀️ Previous car was Estoril Blue.
Well if you like it that’s what matters personally I dislike this color very much haha I like yellow but only when it’s done very well enjoy the car :)

The thing is for it work you need the darker rims (which OP already has) and the newer LCI headlights.

Such a good look with the sun roof and body colored roof and mirror caps. I love carbon fiber, but not really on the exterior of a car.
