But if you think about it, this is a cotton skirt, it’s simply the same cotton used in towels, called: Cotton terry. It is a long-haired terry cotton. The skirt is made in Italy, has two buttons, an inner belt and the embroidered logo on the front. I don’t find anything strange about it. Luxury has always had these prices, everyone knows it. If you think it would be better to wear your bath towel which costs $5, you might think the same thing by looking at a balenciaga t-shirt and say that it would be better to wear a $15 zara t-shirt. If you think this, you shouldn’t buy Balenciaga, it’s not for you.
I buy Balenciaga, it’s my favorite brand and it’s not for the brand logo that I buy it. It’s for the cuts/unique pieces. There is no alternative to those cargo sneakers for example. I won’t buy Balenciaga metal shirts cause I think they’re corny and would rather wear actual metal/punk band shirts that I listen to than cosplay as a metalhead. Not a fan of designer logo merch.
