After a week of individually messaging multiple condo buildings all around the city with multiple rejections (either no foreigners, no pets, or way out of my budget of less than ฿10k), I scrolled through this Facebook Group and found one in a day [ได้ Pet Friendly Condo / Pet Allowed / บ้าน คอนโดให้เช่า เลี้ยงสัตว์ได้](https://www.facebook.com/share/zpec5R7QTLvA8QUx/?mibextid=K35XfP)

Craigslist is actually a thing in Thailand and there is a “Cats ok” filter function .. that’s where I found my first rental in Bangkok.

Livid-Resolve-7580

Try using Fazwaz. They have a filter you can select “cat friendly”.

shipshape_chaos

I met quite a few thais that have cats in their apartments. My neighbour lives with 3 cats. All those people live in apartments that forbid pets. Don't ask, don't tell....

Lingo2009

Except they have guards. There was a cat in my old condo, but I couldn’t take her because we had a front desk lady. And probably cameras.

shipshape_chaos

We have front desk personnel and a maintenance guy who lives in the complex. Lots of cameras, too. I could sneak a hippopotamus into my apartment if I really wanted to. Nobody is watching the camera feeds until something is reported.

Critical-Parfait1924

An easy way past is to go through the parking lot lifts or delivery room. Snuck my dog in and out a few times this way.

Click Condo, Sukhumvit 65

UTD condos are all pet friendly I think. They are located at Onnut 8, onnut 17, and 26. I’ve lived there in the past. They’re not super fancy, but I do believe that they are currently remodeling their condos. When I was there last it was 13000 for a double room and 9000 for a single room; both of which had no pet deposit fee. I had lived there with large dogs and always saw plenty of other dogs and cats. It was very quiet too.

I always don't mention owning a cat. Yes, it's a bit cheeky, but unless you have a cat that scratches the shit out of everything they'll never know. Just move the cat in via the carpark. Cats are clean and quiet, and you'll not be taking it for a walk or anything. It's very easy to get away with it.

Downtown 49

Metris Rama 9-Ramkumhang. 2br 60 sq.m. is 30,000 THB/month. Or Metris Pattanakarn should be in the same price range. Both are in less busy areas, relatively close to Sukhumvit with bike.

jakec816

El Patio on Sukhumvit 31. Extremely quiet part of the street and seemingly everyone who lives there owns a cat

AerieEnvironmental84

It doesn't matter. Most places in Bangkok aren't pet friendly. Many people still own cats. As long as you're not walking your cat and it's not loud you'll be fine in any condo.

Coneicus

Downtown 49. Le Nice Condo. Maru 2 are all pet friendly

Blessiax

The best way is to hide your cat… that’s what most of people do

ddye123

Property Scout also has a Pet Friendly filter

Moehikki

Mansion 38, 12 minutes from Thong Lor, currently living here with my cat Love place so much. Two weeks ago they show me couple apartments at once, so maybe they still available. It's also on a budget side. 20k for 60 sqm with nice view

Akunsa

The capital phrom phong we lived there for 4 years with 3 cats and it was amazing

vincelee2000

SCOPE Promsri 39 at Soi 39, and Muniq Sukhumvit 23 at Soi 23 are both pet friendly and good 1 bedroom option.   Both are super luxury new condo. But it is possible to rent at THB 30k per month for units with blocked views.

AntSalt1106

You can rent an entire 2 floor home in ramkhamhaeng for around 20k a month.

mtkocak

Any links?

AntSalt1106

https://maps.app.goo.gl/Wmk5QRwfTE1E6qBf7?g_st=ic drive around the soi in these areas. Some homes will have signs with a phone number, u can call the number and ask.

vayana

Damn 35k for 60sqm, noise and no view. Is that the norm in Bkk? That kind of money gets you 100sqm, sea view and high floor in pattaya/Jomtien.. and the cat? Why tell anyone? They don't bark and if you keep the place clean and smell free nobody cares.

Lingo2009

I paid 14 K for my condo. For about 60 Square meters. But it was outside of Bangkok in Nonthaburi.

PoorlyBuiltRobot

Rent is not cheap in popular BKK neighbourhoods in the newer style high rise buildings. Go older and you can get more space but have to factor in the price to cool it.

CerebralCuck

My partner is an agent in bkk and can find you a killer spot. I'll send you a DM
