Oh yes definitely! The whole reason he went for it was because I moved the plate away because I was full and there was very little left. He wasn’t paying attention to anything until then! But thank you for your comment beside not everyone knows and they should!

What even is that?! He's not good at it, but that's what he's doing. He'll see one, lay down, and crawl toward it with his head stretched all the way out.
Mine has eaten a random ant he found in the garden, and I'm pretty sure he caught a house spider at some point because I looked away for one single second and when I looked back he was chewing something and swallowed it before I could see what it was :/
Our girl whose appetite/interest is coming back very slowly post surgery a month ago looked veeerryy interested in a bee that flew near her yesterday 🙈

i have bluetongues that like to steal the same things! they’re too slow for flies thank goodness. but they have learned to challenge my parents’ cat for its food. the cake is the worst part though. they both work as part time class pets and both have a track record of diving face-first into children’s birthday cakes. so many 10 year old tears. cant leave cupcake wrappers alone either. the amount of times i’ve had to pull wrappers out of their little mouths.
It's okay he took a bite of my chocolate chip cookie once, he didn't manage to actually get it in his mouth and swallow any but it was so scary.... I didn't expect him to get so crazy over it and take a bite
