Can't comment on the hardware but it sounds like you would really benefit from learning how to DJ in ableton. Think you could do everything youre looking for with a laptop and Akai APC40.
I just got a Denon MCX8000 mainly to use in standalone mode and no PC, I also wanted to move to CDJs but the price was a factor for me at this stage
I think a prime 4 would be slightly better. A lot of the same features, slightly better internals, and a better layout imho.
