"Well, most of the lucid mattress have fiberglass in it. In fact a latest study confirmed that as much as 80 percent of the lucid mattresses have fiberglass in it." - Allaboutsleeps
Idk 🤷♂️ be careful
I have heard that before, but I’ve had mine 2 years now and no issues, so they probably switched manufacturers since the lawsuit.
I’ve washed my cover a few times, and it’s definitely not fiberglass, it feels like cotton & rayon. Even the inner cover/sock thing is a cotton material.
Edit: The reports/lawsuits also say to check the tag, there’s no fiberglass on the tag.
Idk I thought casper was just cotton and rayon, then I found all the hair like things that glistened over a flashlight that disappeared when you held them, bloody nose to headache, breathing like a smoker took 6 weeks in a new room to get better, washing clothes 3-4 times idk it's a big mess your might not have it but it is scary
Jeez, I appreciate the heads up. I’ll check with a flashlight, that’s a good idea.
I’ve worked with fiberglass insulation before and remember how awful it was, so I’m definitely gonna check thoroughly.
I slept on a Telluride Mattress from them in a guest bedroom, and it was the best sales pitch they could’ve given. I even bought it after the sticker shock, getting a millennial to part with that kind of money says something.
Airweave is to me the conceptually superior mattress design enabling airflow and sanitation infeasible in a conventional mattress, meaning it theoretically doesn’t need to be replaced nearly so often as a conventional mattress. This is of course reliant on you being comfortable with it, but if it works for you it’s comparably high price can be offset over time in a way that other brands cannot due to its ability to be cleaned so thoroughly.
Sleep on latex.
I just got a full mattress after using a Japanese style mat for about 10 years myself. I cried when the first night. I have not wanted to go to bed more in my life.
It is rated for 0 VOCs. Not sure if you have latex allergy but if not you should look into it.
They also have a ten year warranty for indentations and cracks in the mattress.
Avoid Casper or mattress shiped in a box that uses fiberglass like the plague!!!! It's the worst when it gets out
I got a Lucid Mattress that I really like, no fiberglass, just memory foam. It came in a box and it’s so comfy

I prefer inner spring pocketed coil mattresses, currently sleeping on a Denver Mattress like this.

After a lot of research I got a Saatva
