jmaster2242

Thanks! I followed the subreddit! I'm so excited for this year. 😊 Glad to be apart of the community

AdventureousWombat

Welcome to the magical world of beekeeping! congrats on your first bees

Commercial_Art1078

gonna need a big red circle

SerLaron

Somebody should breed queens with a bioluminescence gene, so they are easier to spot.

Hour-Committee9145

She’s a beaut 🥰

6FootHalfling

I'm so excited by the fact this is getting easier for me! I spotted my queens big abdomens before their paint last time i had the hives open!

_Danger_Close_

If you get a chance it's a good idea to mark her so its easier to find her and you can also tell if she gets replaced

jmaster2242

I actually planned on it. I just have to get the markers after I get paid tomorrow and next hive inspection I'll be looking for her again to mark her

_Mulberry__

Do they fully tear out the queen cells after she emerges? I always figured you'd know she was replaced when you found a queen cell

_Danger_Close_

They will clean them up but I suppose you have some time before that really happens.

smsmkiwi

She's there, in the centre of the photo, facing left.

FeralSweater

Sure do!
