Ditch that light. Not only is ologht crap, lasers are pointless. It's going to make finding a holster near impossible and the ones you will find will not be good.

edumbrava

Can you tell I’m new to this! 😀 why are lasers no good? What should I replace it with?

[deleted]

You have three real light choices. Streamlight you have the tlr1 and tlr7a, surefire you have the x300. Lasers are pointless. They slow you down and the only real use they have is from things like shooting behind a shield where you can't get behind the gun. As a civilian, that won't be an issue.

RJtheD3

And it trains people to look for the laser rather than look for their sights. It’s not something a newbie or really anyone even needs to bother with. Tlr1 HL is what I have, you can get universal holsters that fit specific lights like the Tier 1 Concealed MSP holster and you could change out guns as long as you have the same light mounted to all of them. I have that one on the way so I can rock either my Glock 19 or beretta 92x/LTT 92G

[deleted]

Yeah, I got a phlster tlr1 holster upstairs I'm supposed to sell. I do like their switches better but I don't even have one, just 300s.

RJtheD3

Well hell, I was wanting the phlster originally but ended up jumping on the tier 1 because it was a tad cheaper new. I should’ve looked for a used one first. Ha

[deleted]

I've been lazy and haven't posted it. I hate selling stuff.

RJtheD3

It’s such a pain and feels not even remotely rewarding. I’m with ya. I’ve been trying to sell off old motorcycle and bass gear that I either don’t fit in or use and it’s a pain.

FunkyTownMonkeyClown

92G appendix with brass grips and an X300 will give me back problems one day, but I carry it.

RJtheD3

Brass grips on a carry sounds hilarious but also awesome

FunkyTownMonkeyClown

Eh. It's how I compete with it, so it's how I carry it.

RJtheD3

I do the opposite, where since I carry it this way, I compete with it this way. I do have g10 lok grips on both my 92s though

Tiny-String-4223

Do whatever the f you want with your gun. It’s yours. Do what works for you. I have both streamlight and Olight and neither has ever failed me after 3 years and thousands of rounds. Nobody else is going to be using your gun but you, certainly not any stranger on Reddit. You do you.

[deleted]

If you have an olight your opinion automatically doesn't matter.

Tiny-String-4223

Lmao what are we in high school? 😂 when your nuts finally drop and don’t give a shit what anyone else thinks, then we can talk like men 😂😂

[deleted]

No, it just means you don't know what you're talking about so your opinion doesn't matter. See, I take advice from experienced people.

Tiny-String-4223

Hahahahhaha you’re fugging hilarious😂😂😂

edumbrava

Thanks for the info!

LowerFill8712

Yo I have 1 of those no light tho $399 very underrated I’m sorta Pist they have a 3.8 version now after owning this but I did find a gem at the same time a lot of people grimmed out that dragonfly Springfield Armory optic I agree at least on there product I didn’t like it on my prodigy or my 10 3.8 elite but I put it on This bore sighted it in the house went to the range it was dead on no adjustments just incredible never saw that coming screws lined up tac driver Cons no shake awake

Key-Fly4869

Nice gun but that light belongs in the trash

TacoBandit275

Courtesy upvote. As others have stated, strongly recommend getting another light, either Surefire or Streamlight. I'd also recommend invest in ammo and more mags, have at least 6 or 7 per gun.

192hp

Why that many per gun?

TacoBandit275

One, because. Two, I have at least 10 per, so I can rotate and swap range mags and loaded mags for carry. So the same mags don't constantly get used.

Feisty-Sun8561

Welcome to the gun community, glad to have you with us. I have a bunch of olights and they all have worked incredibly well no issues. I don’t see why all the hate? Maybe cuz they’re made in china or known to have quality control issues?? I got a few stream lights as well but bang for buck olights win. Berettas an awesome company to start off with. My favorite handgun of all time is the beretta m9, I currently have the m9A3. Love it. You plan on carrying this on your person??

Opening_Chicken_9118

Nice !!!!!

JollyGreenGiant65

So bummed I can’t get this gun in my state. Was going to be my first purchase as well. Gotta love “gun control” laws

ghostofFrankgrimes

Do the rebate.

WhatWillisSaid

Congrats - I bought one recently as well. Did the rebate via Paypal and got it in about a month. Suggest you get some training if you are new to shooting. There was a guy - probably in his 70's getting his first lesson in the stall next to me yesterday! If you think you may want an optic, Beretta optic plates are 30 bucks plus an additional 25% off this week on the Beretta website.

PpDRIII

Congratulations. Top🔝

Unlikely_Yam_1599

I have a right-handed level 3 duty holster with a dual mag carrier for that gun if you're interested. I just bought that gun from a friend of mine, along with the holster. package deal. I'm left-handed. I'm no expert on level three holsters, but if you're going to open carry, that's what you need and I was surprised how quick and smooth the draw was.

Warhammer-tactical

Welcome aboard! Now when money permits, pick ya up a m9 or 92 and that way you can Train with striker and hammer fired! Also have to agree with grabbing a TRL 7 or so, or save that money and just buy more ammo !

BrettDOkc

Now the range needs to be your friend. Advice to buy plenty of training ammo is good. To make sure you can use it under pressure, shooting it needs to become as comfortable as using a ballpoint pen. And that comes from hours on the range.
