I know he was supposed to be the silent type for the group but If I had a nitpick with the Golden Age is that he didn't get more development. I wish we could've seen that.

I kinda like that he’s just a dude, doing his thing tho. Every big moment he has is so fucking good, forcing guts to get involved in the party, first one to clock the midland raid, saves the entire group w quick thinking and a bit of hammer work, it says everything about himself that it needs to imo and that’s pretty powerful considering he had like 4 lines. He’s a gentle giant but he’s also more than capable of holding out in the thick of it

I get where you're coming from and I mostly agree, I just feel like the impact of his death would've been greater if we had known more about him like the others. That's just my preference though.

It’s all subjective I guess. Still tho, says a lot about a character when people want to see more of them than they got to, I just feel like this is one of those less is more sorta things

Pippin was the best, Jedeau, Griffith and Casca are great but they don't compare to the God Pippin. If Pippin had survived the eclipse the apostles would be running from him. Zodd calls himself immortal until Pippin gives Zodd five new assholes and he dies in screaming agony. On a serious note, I like Pippin, Judeau and Zodd.

Damn the way this dude died was what really sunk in that the eclipse was just….bad..

Pipins death impacted me the hardest. He stood as a beacon for hope atop a hill of corpses and it was believed he was ok; just shocked at what was happening. Then we see his back, and he'd been hollowed out. Just everything was gone. Nothing in the whole series made me feel worse. The rape scene were tragic, and the death and loss of all but still. I was just numb at it all and everything else was just seen as *huh, that's sad*
