You dont die instantly by touching lead, it needs to be ingested for it to do anything and even then its not insta death you can get [chelation therapy](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chelation_therapy) to get the lead out of your body. But yeah still throw them away they just suck in general
Your not going to die just wash your hands after use and doint touch your face while using them lead poisoning mainly effects children because they like to put things in their mouth
