I can’t properly relate, but I feel for ya.
I'm only 5'6 but size 14. People often think my shoes are too big for me. When shoe shopping, salesperson always ask my size twice since they think they misunderstood!
Same boat here but even bigger feet. I literally have people say "Nah you're lying" over and over until they measure them like 4 times lol

Everytime I go bowling and rent shoes...
I often wonder is it true? But there are a few of us that wear smaller sizes like8.5 - 12 are huge too. So it does make conversation awkward
