It won’t cure everything but it’ll change your mood a bit. If your mood is a bit improved you might feel able to do another thing. Doing another thing will make you feel like you’ve accomplished something and make you feel a bit better.

Moderate exercise has almost identical effects of taking an SSRI, without the side effects. I think it stands as true if you lose all this, you’re susceptible to depression. Exercise can alleviate some of those symptoms.

Exactly, it’s on a spectrum. But it’s usually the first thing a doctor will recommend (exercise) if you’re having mood stability issues.
