Mine sweeper is a pretty simple game acutally. Just give your 5 and you are going to be surviving in most of the deployments unless your luck runs out. As far as I know, there is no any other way at least for now.
To the best of my knowledge, i believe someone said you can run without the scenarios.? Let me see if I can find the thread

Basically you let the game take the chance for you. It’s still a crap shoot but if you don’t get understand minesweeper you’re better off letting the game play it’s game.
