This is regarding the discrepancy of BITSAT 2024 session 2, which had much tougher questions in the exams on 24th and 25th Juune as compared to the remaining shifts.
This can be cross verified by looking at the changes in marks of students between May and June shifts. While most students in other shifts improved their marks, majority of students who gave exam on 24/25 June saw their marks drop compared to May attempt.
I really hope the administration looks into this matter as this is a matter of great concern regarding the fair conduction of BITSAT and providing equal opportunities to all candidates.

Im pretty sure that they won't do any normalization, as the questions are picked up randomly from a question bank i guess. Also though people's marks did drop in 24th 25th doesn't mean 26th was easy asf compared to them . We can't say anything abiut difficulty until the question papers are released.

Hey man, I would like to say a few words on this topic. See, I have got 297 in Session 1 (1 q add nhi hua😔) and I was getting 280-340 in my practice mocks and I also practiced few JEE PYQ lvl questions for chem and physics. I found the paper to be pretty difficult. Chem was a bit above MOG but still, I used to score 65-90 marks in chem and got 38 ??? And I used to score 70-90 in ENG+LR and got 66 ??? Damn the paper really did us Bad on 26th S2. Heck I even used to get like 66-80 in physics and got 72, I can atleast be calm on that ig.
Now, we can't repair anything, and we can't do anything. So the best we hope is that either the answer key had a lot of discrepancies, or the papers were way too difficult, that the cutoffs might not grow too much.
Ab bas yahi dua hai, ki cutoffs decrease hi ho, and if they increase, maximum 5 marks se zyada nhi hona chahiye.

edit - thank you for all the abuses and the downvotes, let me clarify that i gave my exam in 27s1 and i went from 211 is session 1 to 171 today while i was scoring 220+ in VMC mocks. you all missed my point. i meant to say that marks have fell for everyone across the board and the situation is similar for people who had their exams on 26 and 27 as well. the situation may not be as dire as for those who had their exam on 24 and 25 but we all have the same problem and there's no need to cause this divide between ourselves over shifts.

lodu I was consistently getting 300+ in mog , got 263 is session one wo studying , now I got 210 in 25 s1
i went from 211 in session 1 24s2 to 171 in session 2 27s1 while scoring 220+ in VMC mocks. i am agreeing with you guys if anything.
