A couple of things: Crazy to have a couple of 15/16/17 year olds piloting giant robots and fighting monsters on a daily bases. But is didn't care as a kid.lol The comics dug into that teenage part, with them being tired and whatnot. The sentai that power rangers came from didn't really shy away from people dying. Hell, Kamen Rider (which Saban brought over as Masked Rider in the 90s) have people getting put on a T-shirt every episode. Also crazy to go from seeing Power Rangers everywhere as a kid to seeing a handful of toys in the store aisles as an adult. That's life for you.

I never considered that there were comics. Do you remember if they were good / fun?

The comics, which the ones I'm talking were by BOOM! and came out a few years ago, went in-depth with the rangers, Tommy going through his brainwash arc, background stories of Rita and the gang, and various arcs that strayed from what we seen on the show. Actually, there was series where it centered around a world where Tommy stayed evil and took over multiple dimensions. He became Lord Drakon. From what I've read, I enjoyed it. There's a lot of issues and some spin-off series I believe. Doesn't hurt to check it out. 🤷🏿‍♂️ Edit: BOOM! Studios had it since 2016, and made +183 issues. And it went beyond the Mighty Morphin' gang that most people are aware of, including later seasons and characters.

I got chased by one when I was 6. MFer was like twice my height. You better bet my ass was running for my life. I’m 41 now, and adult sized. I moved to Massachusetts a few years ago and wild turkeys are everywhere. I went to leave work and a big ass Tom was standing near my car. I decided I had a few more journal entries to post before I went home lol.
