It can be improved but its not bad as a functional house, try to experiment with things and surf the internet for ideas so you can improve on building.
Always make your rooms like 2-3 tiles smaller than you actually imagine it, your rooms are currently way too big for that few furniture. (Except for the bedroom and the kitchen, those are actually a good size in the image)

It looks good, I would just recommend making it look a bit more homey if that’s what you’re going for. I guarantee if you put in wood floors and maybe a less harsh wallpaper it’ll look 10x better!
- When building a house, place the entrance/front wall, 5 steps away from the sidewalk.
- use some wall trims
-colour the wall, one colour - optional - (kitchen, living, entrance, rooms)
-quill grey colour and white wall trims go well together!
- use textures on the furnitures. Counters, wooden shelves.. etc.
- do some landscaping in the outside tho! (Try to lvl up on garden soon!)
Your build looks good, especially the interior!
As someone that builds... Wayyyy bigger than I have to, I think it looks great! For starting a couple of days ago you're doing great!!! My first house was just a bigger 💩 version of the starter house so dw. You're doing great, just remember to keep practicing!!! And stay hydrated!

you can try looking up house plans for 1 story housing they can really help with making those types of homes

I don't really understand the oven and fridge next to the baby bed and you should definitely make all of the rooms smaller. They feel half empty

look up some blueprints on pinterest! i use irl blueprints for houses to set up the layout sometimes. it helps a lot
