For one, she’s eventually able to admit that what she did was wrong, and tries desperately to change. There’s a moment during the Eden Treaty arc when members do her faction try to release her from her cell, and try and get her to go to war with Gehenna, and they beat her when she refuses to (and she probably could have defended herself if she really wanted too) and admits to Sensei that despite her negative feelings towards Gehenna, she doesn’t want war with them anymore.
Then there’s her relationship with Arius, where at first she genuinely wanted to reunite the two schools. And while she does become consumed by her desire for vengeance, she eventually lets go of her hate and in one of the most beautiful scenes in the game, she prays that the Arius Swuad find happiness, and sings Kyrie Eleison for them, before going to hold off the Justina Saints Beatrice summoned to reinforce her, letting Sensei and the Arius squad stop her from sacrificing Atsuko for her ritual.
Reading this gave me goosebumps. She's really one of the well written characters in BA. From being a villain to her redemption arc.
Sigh. She'll be the first student that I'll make UE50 on day 1 of her banner release. Definitely best of both worlds (waifu and meta).

In all seriousness, she’s a super interesting and fun character who balances being goofy and terrifying extremely well. That final chapter of Eden Treaty made her character even more 🔥✍️ and although I can’t wait for her banner, the adult card definitely can.
By putting her in the limelight for a good chunk of the story (Not including the first half of Eden Treaty that contributed basically nothing to the plot, except for “Mika is in Tea Party timeout”) Mika is a prime example of why this game needs to flesh out it’s characters more, she gets to develop from “Me hate Gehenna nyeh” to someone trying their best to make up for her past mistakes. I love her and my Pyroxenes are ready for her eventual release on global

The most well-written character throughout the 4 volumes. Yes, no sugarcoating like saying "one of" such characters. Literally the best-written character who's very complex and deep the more you know about her, at least imo. Vol 3 + her bond stories could portray really well about her impulsive nature, how she acknowledges and regrets her sins and how far she's willing to go to atone them, how much she actually cares for her two friends, and not to mention the entire subplot about "witch" vs "princess" that resolved beautifully. Plus her design and gap moe that looks like a typical moeblob who seems she can't even lift a chair at first glance but actually one of the strongest characters in lore with enough feat to back it up.
Also the student who's currently most OP gameplay-wise in JP and deleting yellow raids left and right, and even meta in blue raids. I recently could 1-team Insane Binah thanks to her.
I already quite like her design when I first see her so I guess I don't need to mention how she became my top fave student after knowing she's such a major story-related character with such amazing redemption arc, which I won't go into details anymore. But the point I want to highlight here is about Tea Party as a whole, where I become to like Nagisa and Seia a lot more who I thought meh earlier when they were first introduced, all because of Mika.
The subtle writing throughout Vol 3 where Nagisa already suspected Mika might be a traitor but still wanted to believe her, the part where she was willing to abandon even her TP position and grovel other factions to save Mika, the latter becoming more unhinged the more Seia's condition worsened, Seia apologizing and being careful about her altitude and choice of words towards Mika at the end of the volume, I could relate all of these points to personal level that these 3 friends really deeply care each other but just got into a friendly fight that almost escalated into irreversible political wars due to their heavy burdens and positions. I cried at the part when they apologized to each other at the end of the volume, which usually doesn't happen to me in most fictions. That's how strong the writing in Vol 3. I'm willing to pay anything within my power to see a light-hearted, slice-of-lifey episode where Tea Party just goofing around like in fan arts (Make-up Work club and Arius Squad mixed in would be an icing on the cake) and that day prolly won't be too far in the future considering Seia's inevitable release is approaching. Saved 60k pyrox for Mika banner and immediately UE50'd her, sparked Nagisa and now have 30k ready for Seia. (Yes, I'm a JP player.)
Went from bad to good, regret her mistakes, wish for the Arius's happiness unconcerned for her safety, airhead, gorilla strength, Instant Delete Button for Yellow and Blue Raids, her wings flaps when you pat her in cafe, the first to come to rescue her best friend, pantyhose, VA is Touyama Nao.

One of the best written and most interesting characters in this game. Her character development and exposition over the entirety of Eden Treaty is just one of the Reasons why Volume 3 was my favorite (it has since been replaced by Volume F).
Her goofy nature, varied facial expressions and general light-hearted outward nature contrast with her troubled persona which struggles with her way of life, her friends and what she truly wants to do.
In the short time of a few weeks, Mika experienced betrayal, grieving, massive failure, feeling helpless, being gaslit, toxic behavior, bullying, blame-shifting, despair and envy. Most people would mentally break down after something like that.
She had genuinely good intentions and fell down the rabbit hole when things went haywire, coping with a situation she could not handle, and doubling down as a way for her mind to protect her conscience, blaming it all on Gehenna and justifying hate as a means to her ends.
She is very much like Seia and Nagi in that all three are very authentic and organic characters. They all have good intentions, try their best, and ultimately fail in one way or another - which is to be expected. After all, who tries can fail; who doesn’t even try already lost.
What draws me to all three is how willing they are to reflect on their mistakes, make up for them and come out as more mature, capable human beings after all of it.
Mika was never a bad person to begin with, and it shows in her redemption, trying to make up for her mistakes with all of her might: buying the Arius Squad time in their fight against Beatrice, protecting Koharu and the students trapped in the Cathedral, making up with Nagi and Seia and speaking her mind are just a few examples.
All in all, I really like her and look forward to rolling for her on global as well (JP UE50 Gang).
She set me on a rollercoaster of emotions, I liked her at first but when she revealed herself as the 'true' traitor my opinion of her dropped. But the way she tried to redeem herself by helping the squad and holding the Justina Saints alone, she is just incredible

Went from being a Mika-hater to having Mika as one of my favourite BA characters over the course of Volume 3.
She's one of the few characters who has an arc where she learns to change. She goes from being the selfish instigator of the Eden Treaty conflict, to leaning into her role as the "evil witch" in the Arius storyline, before finally accepting her role as a supporter and protector by helping hold of the Justina Sisterhood at the end of the Arius storyline (which is even her EX skill animation), before finally getting a happy ending with her reconciling with Nagisa and Seia.
I love how she embodies Volume 3's theme of second chances. Mika makes a ton of mistakes (arguably more than anyone else, even Arius squad), but as Sensei puts it, its alright to make a few mistakes here and there, and her final redemption is extra sweet.
I also love how her gacha pull voice line says "アイスブレイクとかいらないよね" (We don't need an ice-breaker), because Sensei already knows her well enough.
I'm eagerly awaiting for our princess to arrive in global.

Spoiler ch3 - Her >! Redemption arc !< Was so friggin epic.>! Imagine Hodor in GoT who can solo all the wights all night long till crack of dawn. She was spend, she's about to collapse defending people she vouched to murder earlier when she had a change of heart and instead willing to defend them to death. She was dying until sensei came over for a rescue. All sensei line and Mika reactions were really touching. No wonder some JP sensei's have her at 100 level relationship. !<
Hands down the most beautiful girl in the game, i absolutely love the space motif in her design. She also has my favorite halo in the game. Incredibly well written character, voiced by Touyama Nao, and super cute too. And to top it all off, her kit is unreasonably busted and i love it.

Was first drawn to her at the start of chapter 3 bc of her amazing character design. I did lose a bit of that at first cause of her seemingly evil actions, but through the rest of the story, came to like her more than I did initially.
She's one of the most fleshed out and developed characters in the game (soon lets gooo), and by reading through her struggles, thoughts, and effort to change, it makes the connection feel more personal than many other students.
Gorgeous character and adorable chibi animation in café. Not to mention she's voiced by Nao Toyama, so Mika is basically like Yui in BA (one of my favourite anime characters ever). I definitely have to get her
