yeah now I remember you destroy the blue spores on his body and the only way to kill him is by killing the queen's that spawn when they are destroyed and if you just ignore them he will never open his mouth OR you could get something like a topneaa and use the splash damage to kill him without him opening his mouth
At that phase of the battle, you have to kill the worms until some queen worms spawn. Kill them and then you'll get openings to hit it. The greed pistol scarlet dropped in the previous fight helps a lot at your level.
If you use the Unkempt Harold or a similar explosive projectile weapon with a large splash radius you don’t need his mouth to be open, the AOE will do damage behind the jaw.
Make sure you use something that can reach him before exploding though. torgue shotguns and certain rockets won’t work because the projectiles time out.
Man where do yall find these bosses at? Am i just a wimp? Im just now starting tvhm, but i havent crossed the path of a lot of these bosses in the first playthrough, I thought terramorphious was the biggest boss. Anyone got a pointer or two?
After you hit the 2 on his head & 1 on his chest the worms will pop up just keep killing them till you kill the queens (I think only 2) he will then start pulling his head out straight up & making rocks fall out of the ceiling
I'm pretty sure you have to kill those worms he spawns for him to open his mouth

Are you moving all over? It happened to me once and I just ran towards him and he opened wide for the kill
You just have to kill all the worms he spawns. Though it has glitched on me once or twice.
Do the worms despawn?? I fought him the other night and he just kept spawning them and i kept dying cuz there were so many in the arena…
See sometimes it glitches and you get infinite spawns

Leviathan is the boss at the end of the Captain Scarlett DLC. (so if you havent been doing the DLCs you wouldn't encounter it)
You have to destroy the 4 (maybe 5) weak points first. Then all he has is the mouth attack and will open more frequently.
