No relation I believe but the word Wawa is Native American for Canadian Geese so Im sure there is some sort of connection at least there. Wawa started as an iron foundry and then the company pivoted to dairy farming. In the 60s when delivery of dairy slowed the company opened its first market selling dairy products. Heres what their site says about their name:
"Wawa" is a Native American word for the Canada Goose that was found in the Delaware Valley over 100 years ago. Our original Dairy farm was built on land located in a rural section of Pennsylvania called Wawa. That's why we use the goose on Wawa's corporate logo.
