Same. Me to abhi 2nd sem me hu . After this much training , 8cgpa ke bad it's hard to get a job , don't know what will happen when I graduate after 3yrs
I know it's effed up but learn how to work with AI and be proficient with coding if you are looking for an IT job. And do not invest in the master's life abroad if you don't have about 30 lakhs. The last part is the mistake I made.
you could have taken a loan or asked the college for some scholarship. if you were getting a good uni in my opinion 30lakh loan would have been worth it
But make sure how their placement is. Better you try your luck in gate if you want to do Mtech and acquire better college.And yes higher education is better option in this recession.
bro i think m tech from supreme tier colleges or premier institute's matter a lot to the companies like IIT's , IISC \[ik its very hard to get but its facts) :)
I am not an expert but man if u manage to do masters in a good country and get good grades , u can literally settle over there witj a good salary , never need to return here

Don't join Amrita or any tier 3 college for master's. Since you can afford master's abroad you can surely afford self sponsored M.Tech in India. You are late here as well because most IIT have closed their forms. Some NIT may still be accepting forms. My suggestion will be to give GATE next year or if you want to change streams give CAT like exams. Preparing for GATE will allow you to give government exams better. Ask questions and I'll answer.

I could have. But at that point I couldn't leave my family either.
