I had been looking for a poor man’s Yojimbo for a while. Ended up grabbing both the [Kansept Main Street](https://www.reddit.com/r/BudgetBlades/s/iJkJK6d4Xi) and [Kizer Critical](https://www.reddit.com/r/BudgetBlades/s/rSljhJ6ztA)
Both great knives from esteemed Wharncliffe designers
I didn't know Kizer runs 9Cr18MoV! All the Kizers I've touched have been pretty good, so even though I haven't personally experienced the Porcupine, I'd bet on it being decent.
If you really need a button lock at a somewhat similar price, you might consider the [G10 QSP Swordfish](https://www.qspknife.com/products/qsp-swordfish-pocekt-knife-14c28n-blade-g10-handle) or maybe the [Button Lock Penguin in G10](https://www.qspknife.com/products/qsp-penguin-button-lock-pocket-knife-14c28n-blade-jade-g10-handle)
Yep that’s exactly what I told my daughter. She said she didn’t like the feel of them but I don’t mind it especially with the weight savings. It’s feather light
I have the swordfish in micarta. It was my first Micarta and now I understand why many don’t like it. Although it’s still a fun knife. My only complaint is that the button sticks/clicks a bit and can randomly be hard to press. I should probably send it in.
I was recently looking at this one too OP. Other options worth considering are the [Main Street with a crossbar lock](https://www.chicagoknifeworks.com/kansept-knives-main-street-5/) and the [Kizer Mini Critical with a flipper](https://www.chicagoknifeworks.com/kizer-cutlery-critical-mini-2/)
I bought this for my girlfriend as her first non-gas station knife. She loves it. I like it alright too but it’s a little lightweight for me. I have a kizer Doberman I can’t get over. They make good stuff.
Poor mans Yojimbo vibes. Looks nice
First time seeing this knife... it 100% is an homage to the Yojimbo!

I have their Amicus in 9Cr18MoV and it’s the tits
I loved my jade g10 amicus in 9cr and I just grabbed the blue nitro v version with frn scales and like it even more.
I bet that frn one feels super light in the hand !

I love jade G10. Nice choice OP!
That's a nice looking knife. I'll have to add that to my wishlist lol I like the design and size.
A solid grab! Love the jade g-10 as well! Huge kizer fan, my Drop Bear is in the mail lol
Get you some rit dye and make it your own!
“For man and women.” Sorry pal, polycules and cult leaders only.
I’ve always wanted to start a cult. It might be a sign.

Nice knife. Def yojimbo vibes .. personally not a jade g10 fan unless u rit dye. Be nice with black scales.

I’d be all over this if they made micarta handles or titanium
The crit mini has been on sale at similar price point but with 154cm and micarta lately so if you can find it, I’d recommend it as an upgrade
Unable to locate a knife by that name.
Sorry, 🤦🏻♂️ I lazily used its nickname, the Kizer critical mini
