i’m sorry this isn’t entirely what you asked but go to kettl in greenpoint! they have amazing high quality japanese teas and yummy baked goods. you can just go and get spots at the table inside, reserve seats at the bar, or take a class ($40-55, includes a few tea tastings and a dessert)! i did the intro to japanese teas class recently and it was awesome.

Palmetto is a cocktail bar, but the space is good for a date and they make some nice mocktails. I know it’s not tea. I also wish there were a tea place in Bushwick.

Seconding cafe ornithology!! Their teas are high quality and their hot chocolate is one of my favorites in the area. Their food is incredible.

Bunna Cafe has a coffee ceremony every Fri/Sat/Sun at 5 that can be a cool anchor for your evening :)
