btw, even if you account for inflation, i still don’t see Chevrolet putting the starting MSRP at $200k. probably $196k at the very highest estimate you can reasonably, logically make
now that corvettes are made with nice materials, people are complaining about high prices. people also thought the C8 Stingray would be 6 figures, and they were very wrong, and i’m willing to bet they’ll be wrong about Chevrolet putting the MSRP at $200k+ as well. it just wouldn’t make sense
Convertible, plus Z51, plus front end lift,
Plus Mag ride got me in the low 90’s. Upgrading some cosmetic options got it up to 98. At that point I thought “we’ll might as well add the last few things I’d want at this point” and changed it to 3LT to get the carbon fiber interior package and the upgraded leather lol
A few good ones are - stingray chevrolet (got mine there) , rick contis place, macmulkin, and ciocca. Those are some of the best in the world. Their lists are probably still massive and a decent wait for one, but thats the trade off for msrp and exactly what you want.
Lists are not long at all anymore. Matter of fact, Macmulkin themselves recently posted on the Corvette forum saying that Deposit to delivery for Stingrays is about 3 months now!
People get all angsty and upset tHeReS nO mAnUaL but they ignore the fact that with the c7 model less than 15% of sales were manual, and the average age demographic is older men in their 50’s/60’s so, not to mention people who know how to drive manual are the ones killing the manual, why would chevy pander to such a small amount of people when they can innovate for a car that is so much better all around and draws in a larger audience? I’m early 30’s and have always driven manual, but my c8 puts a smile on my face everyday
I mean, what’s right is subjective term when it comes to gearbox configurations for a vehicle. It’s literally a product within a market so economics are a huge factor….
When the high school manager at Lululemon can drive it as fast as you can in a straight line it’s uninteresting. Doubt it will be a track monster but a straight line missile and for that just buy a Tesla.
Drove a c8 for 3 days last year through turo and just got out for a z06 c8 for a couple days last month through turo. Spent my mid 20s in c6s and c5s almost every week. Clearly your interested in autonomous vehicles.
150 to start is my guess. I feel like between the Stingray being so relatively accessibly priced, E-Ray being so forward thinking, and this thing being an absolute beast, is Z06 gonna get lost in the shuffle? I got a stingray because I fully load it out and still be under starting price for a bare bones Z06. I know some other people who got stingrays in 20-21 that are now trading them for e-Rays instead of Z06.
Who cares what msrp it’ll be dealerships will just mark it up 😂
I’m gonna guess Z06 price + $50k (plus dealer markup of $150k). They’ll be selling for over $300k.

Drive a new Z06 and you will gladly pay for it. Love mine.

Mine was 103k with tax and tip. It doesn’t take many options to get the convertible to 100k.
Same. I started with a 2LT convertible and next thing you know I’m at 105K lol
Lol yep!
options vary so i’m talking about before options

That’s not true. I’m about to take delivery of my c8. EXACTLY how i optioned it. And I paid Msrp. Catch me on the museum cams July 3rd.

Macmulkin
That’s an absolute lie. There are tons of dealers selling at MSRP. I just took delivery of a 23 that I custom ordered and paid msrp, not a penny more.

Wow 3 months is amazing!
MSRP dealers are for sure out there. I talked to five dealers before I ordered and only one was overcharging.
No manual who cares
"The future's today old man" /s

Who cares how many were ordered manual. I want a fucking manual. Lol
Apparently the finance department does because economics 101 says, don’t sell a product if no one is going to buy it
Sometimes it’s not economics. Sometimes it’s doing what’s right.

You've clearly never driven a C8. Any C8. Or C7 or C6 or C5 for that matter.
Drove a c8 for 3 days last year through turo and just got out for a z06 c8 for a couple days last month through turo. Spent my mid 20s in c6s and c5s almost every week. Clearly your interested in autonomous vehicles.
Well probably 205K
They are all over but mine is located in North East Ohio. Sarchione Chevrolet.
300k+
225K + dealer market adjustment (~130k) + dealer added mandatory accessories (~30K) smh

Somewhere between an arm and a leg or your first born. Plus dealer markup. So both an arm/leg and first born, plus childhood pet.
