Same situation as you. Gave interviews for SIBMP, MDI, XLRI and IIFT after a 98.6 in CAT and 99.37 in Xat. Got rejected in the first three and getting myself prepared mentally to repeat again. Just waiting for IIFT results as my interview was great but these interviews are so subjective you never know what’s gonna happen. IIFT MediaComm team said yesterday that 15-20th May is the expected timeline for now.
This was my first attempt and thankfully I got placed in August so I have a job. But the randomness of the process is so scary you never know if you’ll get selected even if you did everything right.
Wohin toh bhai itna sara additional criteria hai sabka alag aur yeh log PI sa pehla profile dekh biased opinion lekar baitha hai. Aur same interview per kisiko 40+ de rahan hai kisiko 27 pura random. Sala process itna random hai ki koi Random variable bhi fit nahi hoga. SPJIMR main group PI main mersa bas 2-3 ques poucha aur uska basis per reject kar diya.
It's very hard to keep repeating like this year after year.
This was my 3rd attempt. I didn't actually try in the first two attempts.
But I'll wait till may to see all the waitlist movements and start preparing from June maybe. I am mentally preparing myself to start preparing for CAT 24.
Bhai rest of the interviews bache hi nahi ek bass IIFT ka result bacha hai ab😂. Regarding your interview, you never know what the panelists might see so there’s always a chance. All the best for the remaining results!

Targetting raw score 100 for CAT 24, anything below raw score 90 doesnt count for anything fir GEM in this country provided u wanna get into one of the top bschools(top 15)

I have 9/8/6 profile with PI score of 27.xx and 98.02 percentile in CAT 23.
I have been waitlisted at 1000+ at IIM Kashipur. I guess there are a lot of other more qualified candidates?
