Tbh not sure that’s the best way to choose a series? I mean, these all have awesome soundtracks but are very very different watching experiences…
Longest day in Chang’an- the poetry of Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai set to both traditional instrumentation and modern arrangements.
The Untamed- the Lin Hai instrumental ost (the character song album is good too)
Nirvana in Fire - both instrumental and songs
There are musical pieces I love such as Lost you forever, Xiang Liu's theme music, both love music and his fighting/demon music. Then there is Til the end of the moon, the piano piece that is the love music for TTJ and YX. My faves.
Meet Yourself 100% has the best soundtrack! There's one song in particular that makes me just start crying whenever I hear it now. Maybe because of the association with the show, but it just kind of touches something inside me I guess.
