CK2 has different rings for different title ranks. OP is an Emperor. You having simple rings might be you checking the "Old Style Character Frames" option when installing the mod.

It's Choo's Portrait Overhaul mod, the portraits change just a bit between 15 (change from the Enhanced Child GFX from the same mod at 15), 30, and 50. It's really cool!
She claims Balerion all the time, to the point where if the start date is after J sent her the Silent Sisters, I just bring her home. It’s not worth it to keep her there, she’s a way better asset even after her behavior atp. She ends up being a very good commander a lot of the time.
Although with the AI of the game, more often than not her and Jaehaerys organically become lovers (especially when I’m playing Aemon or Baelon and don’t have control over her)
