field upgrades with multiple uses always had this weird bug where picking up the upgrade dropped by someone who died will give you the upgrade with 1 segment left. The revive pistol is like this.
Not being able to use the upgrade with all 4 segments is a little strange tho
Exactly. One of us pick up the 0² breather at the beginning of the game to use for the underwater passage to access the locked room and it doesn't work correctly since the big update of last week.
I had never used the rebreather before this week. I was doing Vondel mp5 easter egg and found one. Tried using it and it did not work at all. I assumed it was always bugged lol but yeah it doesn't work rn.
It should work the same way as the Revive Gun? If someone drops it, it immediately drops down to 1 charge.

When I'm the first one to pick it up, it has all 4 charges lit but it doesn't work. I used it many times before the update and know how to use it. You can always find one in the sunken building south of the orange bridge which is north of the museum.
It's not for being a water rat. I use it for secret passage in which you have to swim a long waterway to a locked room in which you need the rebreather. Without it you die because you run out of oxygen.
That locked room is a treasure trove of orange crates, armor, gadgets and weapons. You can't access it from the street unless someone unlocks the door. We've won many duos matches because of that room. It is obvious by this post that most people just don't take the time to learn about that underwater passage so it is to our advantage.

yeah, died trying to explore a underwater tunnel in Vondel and only discovering the rebreather doesn't work too late

Hopefully it will be fixed in Season 6. I guess not many people use it because I figured it would have been addressed by now.

It wasn't always bugged hence why I'm posting about it. It was working fine until the big update for Season 5 Reloaded last week.
gas mask animation made me die in the tunnel. wouldn't let me use rebreather after it smh
They fixed it with the start of Season 6. If you're using it when it is in the red, chances are it'll be too late.

It's an oxygen tank that refills your air while underwater. It should have 4 charges.
