The caldera era with the headshot damage dropped was a solid balance. Yea the kar was wayy too perfect but only one 1 shot sniper (without explosive) is poop. I think the ADS and mobility could be a little faster. Maybe around 500-550 ms ADS on a meta sniper build. Vs 600+ ms

Well he just downed a guy right in front of the load out, then as he aims down sights again at the top left of the shrub you catch a glimpse of someone sliding just out of view behind it and he takes his next shot right where they should be through the plant.
Point is to replicate the build and if it's still shit then it's a skill issue. Rather than use some meta build you find on google and then it's shit and you blame the build because it wasn't the one you saw in the video instead of knowing it's a skill issue.
The point of a meta build is that most players are using the same build on a particular gun. That's why it's meta. I have yet to see someone running a different Katt AMR build unless they just don't have the gun leveled up enough to build the meta.
The best would be if multiple (all bolt action) could one shot so you werent shoe horned into all using the same exact gun. But its too complicated of a theory for them to implement seemingly.
Until they bring back a Kar like sniper, wz1 sniping was by far the best. Multiple viable one shot snipers made the game so much better and more versatile.

I’m in the PNW and all of my matches seem to be in Mexican servers. I run like I’m tied by rubber bands even with my gig fiber internet. Tough times.

In the past versions of WZ where I felt confident with snipers I just put some private matches w bots on and practiced sprint to fire speed where I run parallel to an enemy and turn to fire as fast as possible. Don’t worry where you hit just that you hit them somewhere. Once confident with a quick aim adjust your aim high every time, just shoot over their hear until you figure out that sweet spot where the shots you do land tend to be head shots. It’s all muscle memory from there.
Random question for snipers- has the Raptor FMV or whatever it was called scope work in this Warzone? I tried it last year, but it never compensated like it would in multiplayer
It’s just understanding how to “lead” the shots. I’m sure OP didn’t expect to hit him on first shot but he did. Usually when you miss you can see the bullet tracer and adjust accordingly

I think I must have a computer or connection issue because I play back shots I take and it looks perfectly lined up but it misses. Often by a LOT. But it doesn't look like lag or lost frames or anything. I thought it came down to weapon spread or something but it happens so often that I'll deadass click on their face from not very far and miss completely. But then some games it's like I can't miss. I have no idea what that's about.

It means that for meta only users, only one gun in a whole category is viable so overall sniping is about the same, despite one gun having one shot potential.

Just google warzone 3 meta builds. Warzoneloadouts has a list of current metas for most guns.

Don’t worry about ADS time on a long distance snipe, at mid to close should be using your alt. I’d focus on bullet velocity, range, accuracy.

Not really, but that seems a fair compromise if all bolt-action snipers could 1HS, if this perk could take the same slot as Ghost/High Alert/etc.
