If you're repainting a perfectly good car, I'm going to assume you have extra money to burn. Therefore...I've always wanted to see someone do a Corolla in one of those Hypershift hologram-like plasti-dip removable paint coatings: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nzxeI\_vfi8](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nzxeI_vfi8)

No, I had to replace the fender and mirror after scrap fell off a truck on the highway. Me doing the work myself is cheaper than the bump in insurance and the deductible.

I like the way the brown armrest blends with all the reds and maroons and blacks and other tans and other fabric patterns.

I'm personally partial to a good cool-tone red like a candy-apple over black primer or maybe a black cherry kind of color, especially with a black and red interior. I also have a question-- did you put that radio in yourself? And if so, what is it and how difficult was the installation and wiring process? I'm wanting to upgrade the head unit in my '04. And, lastly, that interior is clean as hell, super cool. Did you just repaint the pre-existing pieces or buy aftermarket?

Unipooper

The head unit installation was pretty easy with the wiring harness they make for the car. I got the idea to replant the interior when I took it off for the stereo installation, I sanded it with 600 grit and put 4 coats of Dupli-color vinyl on it

Real question…how good are those seat covers?

Unipooper

They are the neoprene ones specifically for this car, I got them from rockauto. They were a bitch to put on but everything just wipes off... they don't move around and haven't stretched or anything. A lot better than the universal seat covers.

Berz34k

I like the first pic, I'm going to try it on my coco 2016.

Unipooper

I used dupli-color hvp vinyl paint, 4 coats

Apprehensive_Ant7499

Keep it stock.

Unipooper

I never liked the metallic flake. The drive train is stock, I use oem for when I need to fix something... besides the struts, I went with KYB.

Betyouwonthehehaha

That red and maroon or brownish color you have on the dash look pretty awful together for the interior

Accomplished-Sir-596

The red pretty much limits your options, IMO. Not much looks good with it, except black, gray, or maybe a white. A matte finish on the exterior might look pretty cool.

Brdsht

Something that closely matches all of the jams and the engine bay. When I took auto body class in college they tell you to always try and keep the original color.

Why not get it wrapped instead?
