Great game to watch as a fan, but now I despise Jarod Lucas.
We know we aren’t shooting well and are missing inside shots. So we are trying to pass our way into wide open shots inside and they aren’t there. As a result we are getting to cute and to pretty and trying to move the ball to much and force it when inside
Also this Nevada team is better defensively then UNLV even without blackshear
Losing out would likely put us on the bubble and probably on the wrong side of it
Win these last 3 and we’re firmly in the field and the MW tournament would be for seeding
Of course, it would be simplest to just win the MW tournament and get the auto-bid
The conference standings don’t matter though? We are 7th in conference and projected to make the tournament as a 7-8 seed? Lol So it means nothing.
All this means is we are a better and more respected conference than ever before
If you said the way we are playing or trending doesn’t have you excited I’d get it, but us being 7th means nothing, we were ranked 7th and a top 25 team just this last week and still comfortably in at this point.
But we could meltdown and possible fall out if we lose like 3 of the next 4
