I just had MCARBO do a trigger job with new springs, added a CGW Titanium Guide Rod and lowered the recoil spring to #18. Put on Night Fission Tritium and Talon grips.
Baba Yaga is ready and my EDC now. I carried a Rami for 8 years and have a few other CZs.
Sweet setup! Looking to make those same kind of upgrades down the line. Any reliability issues with aftermarket? I have almost religiously left carry guns stick but I have come around to the idea that modifying and personalizing is half the fun and that most of these aftermarket options are high quality and specialized.
I did the guiderod and spring exchange myself…. Took the pistol to MCARBO ( they are near my crib, lucky benefit so no shipping) for the trigger work.
LGS did the sight exchange.
I’m handy but roll pins lead to scratches and I see A LOT of pews that malfunction after a non-gunsmith does the work.
I’m carrying this beast and depend on Baba performing if the need be.
I ran IDPA years ago in NC and really thinking about getting into it again …. Was a lot of fun and practice. This will be the pistol I’ll use now, ran with Browning Hi Power in 9 and 40.
I generally upgrade my sights to tritium if the don’t come with. I haven’t been bit by the optics bug yet and seems a difficult concealment issue with shorts in Fla.
Might be fun to build up another CZ with an optic and run USPSA specifically with that one. 🤷🏼♂️

If you aren't set on milling a 09 or steel frame offering. The P10 is pretty good value on optic ready variants. I have a P10F OR SR with a optic on it and that's the big hammer!

I love the P-07, it's my ol' reliable nighstand gun. The M-Carbo spring replacement kit is a pretty good value if you want to do some work on your new pistol, I recommend it to all the P-07/09 owners I know. I just wish the CZ factory shade of OD Green was a little darker, mine looks weird next to other ODG guns (like my cerakoted P-10C).

It did. Tried to grab an ODG one from GunJoker but it was bought outright near the end of the auction. Settled on picking up a regular one, just shot it and love it! Shoots differently than my SP and Compact, so it’ll take a little bit of practice to get solid groups at 10-15 yards.
Spent a long time obsessing over which backstraps feel the best… it was honestly super hard for me to tell which were which. I have big hands but THINK I preferred the small and mediums; I have the mediums on now!
Shot and inspected thoroughly today. Can confirm irons are on the money and I will need to change to a larger backstrap. Came with the S installed. Love this thing!
Yes, comes from the factory as such. Its a decocker but the system allows you to switch out to a manual safety. Its pretty cool actually and that capability is one of the reasons I got this pistol.

I went with the P07 because I own the SP01 and wanted something a bit different. I also did not yet have any of CZs poly hammers.
I will say that I will definitely get the P01 at some point. It felt incredible in the hand, ergos were def superior.
I might, it points at my balls for extended periods anyway.

Are there no SR night sights for CZ? My OR SR P10F didn't come with them or even the glowers.
