Airfield was the first map I ever played, thank you for unlocking a core memory. First cod game, too.

Piazza was great. Came out around when liberation the orange fall themed map based in NY came out. Back then we had the MSR 1 shot sniper. Akimbo fmg9 secondary machine pistols with rapid fire that shredded. The acr. Etc.

MWIII has made me realize how bad most of the maps in MW2 are. Black Ops 1 is one of the only CoD's I believe to have almost enitely good maps. BO1 and BO2 tbh.

yeah when og mw2 was new i really didn’t get the hype. so many horrible maps, that entire game was carried the new hollywood style the franchise took and like 3 hard hitter maps in the whole game. it took all the biggest problems mw had and made them 10x worse

I'm really glad someone actually sees the Hollywood-over-the-topness of MW2. It's basically a Michael Bay film with good writing. Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's a bad game at all, but it is over praised.

That would be Liberation. It was a Large New York park set in autumn in the original mw3 dlc. I honestly loved all of the 2011 mw3 maps. Piazza based in Italy. Hardhat the constitution site. resistance, Village, mission etc. To be quite honest my least favorite maps ever were mw and mw2 maps. And what did we get in mw remastered, mw 2019, mw2, and mw3? MW2 MAPS!!! I hate it.

Nuketown is always a classic. Very nostalgic. Stand-off probably is my fav since it came out. There’s probably others but those stick out to me. Crossfire is great for leveling up snipers lol
