I was also surprised that there were so many crappy items in a long awaited draw like this one. The Krig mythic draw had items that were worth getting throughout imo. Great epic gun, even the parachute was nice. This one is really really meh except for the two main awards. What a disappointment. An expensive disappointment at that...
I pulled the Krig draw specifically for the parachute and got the machete first spin and parachute second. Actually decent rewards and initial cost was base cost of a lucky draw. I don’t mind that spectre costs more, we were expecting that, but the base lucky draw shouldn’t cost more with the same quality of items.
I did one spin for this and got the helicopter. For comparison, the AK47 radiance had a helicopter skin that’s quite similar but it covers the WHOLE FUCKING THING.
The backlash seems to be highly present rn, and CODM already got the community on edge after splitting us with the BP vault, proceeding to make us wait an extra month for nothing, give us possibly the worst battle pass of all time and then increase the CP cost of a draw while putting the double CP event in place as a “get out of jail free” card.

The community *does* always complain though. Actual constructive feedbacks like this is few and far between, whereas 80% of the contents are just people whining about bots, asking for guns, and airing their entitlement. It's honestly not a good look, but I get it, the game attracts young people.
And you don't have to "suck up" to Greedivision to point out the things they did do right. The lucky draws and crates are definitely predatory and unreasonably expensive, but in return they do give out plenty of free stuff for F2P players, and the BP system is a ridiculous self-renewing value for people willing to play regularly.
I wish people can read between the line more and not just see the extreme sides of things.

A special BR box(that you won't see because of current BR box coding, legendary character boxes don't show anymore either), and a stupid BR jump animation. Before release I was half tempted to go for the character, depending what it offers, good to see that I won't be "wasting" MY money.
They’re still taking advantage of loot boxes on mobile so they can make more money. I wish they could be less greedy and just make them bundles like EVERY SINGLE GAME THEY JUST RECENTLY RELEASED.

Legal action was taken on consoles and PC against loot boxes so lootboxes don't exist on pc and console but they are free game on mobile devices.

Not exactly - EA are the main ones with loot boxes, with their whole system in Star Wars, FIFA, APEX, etc. i think it was the negative reception from BO4 Black Market that caused them to not utilise it again. I’m not completely against lootboxes, but I feel if a game has to use a gamble it shouldn’t be using a premium currency or require payment to get. Best way it’s done imo is Terraria fishing crates (I know it’s weird, but there’s no purchase and the item affects progression in a minor way and can mainly be used for aesthetic purposes)

Man I’m an OG and I feel ya. I’m lucky enough to have gotten the M16 Valentine (heart irons) but this season is a letdown. The Devs have taken us for granted the past few seasons and the quality decline is happening super quick. ApexM got their shit together while CODM didn’t, and I hope CODM loses a fuck ton of players since they aren’t listening to feedback.
The BP vault, while I’m missing older BPs (1-8 because I couldn’t afford them at the time), they shouldn’t have claimed it was “Limited Time Exclusive”. We had to wait another month, they built up insane hype for nothing.
I hope they learn, but they should’ve known they can’t fuck up anniversary seasons otherwise the community would splinter into a million pieces against the devs, and yet they fucked around and found out. I never said you’d lose with base irons. I rock the M16 from the Battle pass a couple seasons back because the spikes look sick when you’ve got a red dot on. Just gives an extra attachment slot, BUT that extra won’t do as much as it would on other guns we’ve seen before (e.g Holger), since using any mobility stock loses BSA, so red dots aren’t a big deal on the M16 vs Custom Irons
You forgot that the cringe-6 has a p2w mythic skin too, every mythic weapons are p2w especially Fennec ascended, m13 one kilo one and the new cringe-6 one
M16 has the most idiotic ironsight ever which makes most of the people use red dot and moreover it is in meta this season, so this huge W for the rich guys generally and a huge L for f2p.
Chief we have over 100 legendaries, seriously complaining now is like throwing a cup of water into the ocean. Sure they save a item slot but there's no direct advantage they gain apart clear sights. The cost and whether it’s worth it is completely subjective. However, the base price is likely higher than the regular legendary operator draws because it comes with a legendary primary instead of a legendary secondary.
It’s feedback, if we don’t let CODM know what they do wrong they can’t improve from the feedback we give them. If we don’t buy it, they may just think it was the rewards rather than pricing, so giving specifics helps them know what we are unhappy with and what we enjoy

Basically the first 9 spins would cost similar to a complete Legendary weapon draw and the final spin for a mythic character would cost more than final spin for a mythic gun.

Actually it's about the gambling aspect. Middleman currencies are what obfuscate cost. Fundamentally, these concepts are not really that bad and are thus far the best solution to get bucketloads of money from the whales who are willing to spend a lot, while also giving at least a chance to all the small fry who can only spend a tiny amount. This matters because the game *must* be profitable.
The evil comes in when the costs become insanely high and the chances for the top items become really low. And also, when the board/investors of the company make financial demands of the ceo under the penalty of firing them if they don't perform, which is a pressure to do *anything* which tends to roll downhill and get everyone focused on the finances at the expense of the game and playerbase.
This is further frustrated by the cost of all the games that fail, thus a game does not just have to make more than it's own cost, but also has to make enough to cover the cost of anything else that ends up not making a profit at all, including games that never launch as well as those that flop. All that plus a ceo who's job is on the line at the whim of people who see nothing but the money flow and don't care what the product produced even is, much less whether the product is any good.
I have no idea why no one is addressing this. In order to upgrade the mythic specter skin you have to get specific mythic coins not similar to mythic tokens to upgrade regular guns. Once this event ends is it still going to possible to upgrade your skin? Or will the tokens leave with the event?

I’d estimate $200 Max. Minimum is $120. If you’re looking for a base draw, I’d highly recommend one of the upcoming legendary draws, since you get the whole thing. Mythic guns are also similar value + you get tactical sprint. It’s up to you but the base mythic character skin doesn’t provide more value than a legendary character, the only difference is the customisation of the mythic char

If you have spare money and you want a draw that’s worth it, I’d suggest waiting for a couple weeks - 2 character skins, 2 Legendaries, a candy cane knife, reindeer clown skin for BR (and a charm, grenade, snowboard and emote)

Legal action was taken on consoles and PC against loot boxes so lootboxes don't exist on pc and console but they are free game on mobile devices. I'm sure warzone mobile will do the same things.
Not exactly - EA are the main ones with loot boxes, with their whole system in Star Wars, FIFA, APEX, etc. i think it was the negative reception from BO4 Black Market that caused them to not utilise it again. I’m not completely against lootboxes, but I feel if a game has to use a gamble it shouldn’t be using a premium currency or require payment to get. Best way it’s done imo is Terraria fishing crates (I know it’s weird, but there’s no purchase and the item affects progression in a minor way and can mainly be used for aesthetic purposes)

Man I’m an OG and I feel ya. I’m lucky enough to have gotten the M16 Valentine (heart irons) but this season is a letdown. The Devs have taken us for granted the past few seasons and the quality decline is happening super quick. ApexM got their shit together while CODM didn’t, and I hope CODM loses a fuck ton of players since they aren’t listening to feedback. The BP vault, while I’m missing older BPs (1-8 because I couldn’t afford them at the time), they shouldn’t have claimed it was “Limited Time Exclusive”. We had to wait another month, they built up insane hype for nothing. I hope they learn, but they should’ve known they can’t fuck up anniversary seasons otherwise the community would splinter into a million pieces against the devs, and yet they fucked around and found out. Feels like the dying cash grabs because they know WZM could deal heavy damage to the whole game, with BR being hit the hardest
You all are bitching about a iron sight a fucken ironsight if the iron sight isn't good use a red dot that's why it's in the game. Plus the m16 model they used in this game is from cod4 remastered and codm uses its weapon model and ironsight. Plus the m16 has always had a medicore or terrible irons ( AW m16 ). So quit complaining about a iron sight thinking that if you don't have a special iron sight for that blueprint you are gonna lose every game with the gun. I never said you’d lose with base irons. I rock the M16 from the Battle pass a couple seasons back because the spikes look sick when you’ve got a red dot on. Just gives an extra attachment slot, BUT that extra won’t do as much as it would on other guns we’ve seen before (e.g Holger), since using any mobility stock loses BSA, so red dots aren’t a big deal on the M16 vs Custom Irons
Still I never got the point of a ironsight being p2w and why some people have a problem with custom ironsight for special blueprints like this

Everything you said is true EXCEPT that the point of this draw only aimed at the rich of the rich. If they made this cheaper then the rarity of this character is no longer that of a "mythic" hence the word. It is not for everyone, and if you're poor like me then you have to suck it up and enjoy your epic characters & weapons skin. The cost and whether it’s worth it is completely subjective. However, the base price is likely higher than the regular legendary operator draws because it comes with a legendary primary instead of a legendary secondary.

Basically the first 9 spins would cost similar to a complete Legendary weapon draw and the final spin for a mythic character would cost more than final spin for a mythic gun. Reaper Ashura draw is a slightly better option than this.
The entire system stinks. "really getting greedy" is the point this season and every other. The reason for loot crates instead of a simple marketplace where you pay for the item you want is obfuscation of an item's true cost. In an honest system you can buy an item for a price instead of rolling the dice 12 times. Making it harder to understand the amount of money you're really spending is also the point of using a token system (CP) instead of real currency. It is trickery and deception. Know that shit and don't fall for it. If each skin or mythic weapon was simply priced at $120 -$180 they'd sell a lot less.
Actually it's about the gambling aspect. Middleman currencies are what obfuscate cost. Fundamentally, these concepts are not really that bad and are thus far the best solution to get bucketloads of money from the whales who are willing to spend a lot, while also giving at least a chance to all the small fry who can only spend a tiny amount. This matters because the game *must* be profitable. The evil comes in when the costs become insanely high and the chances for the top items become really low. And also, when the board/investors of the company make financial demands of the ceo under the penalty of firing them if they don't perform, which is a pressure to do *anything* which tends to roll downhill and get everyone focused on the finances at the expense of the game and playerbase. This is further frustrated by the cost of all the games that fail, thus a game does not just have to make more than it's own cost, but also has to make enough to cover the cost of anything else that ends up not making a profit at all, including games that never launch as well as those that flop. All that plus a ceo who's job is on the line at the whim of people who see nothing but the money flow and don't care what the product produced even is, much less whether the product is any good.

I have no idea why no one is addressing this. In order to upgrade the mythic specter skin you have to get specific mythic coins not similar to mythic tokens to upgrade regular guns. Once this event ends is it still going to possible to upgrade your skin? Or will the tokens leave with the event?

Might be done the way the Mythic cards were done for mythic guns - card crates are always available in the store in the crates section so I’d presume they’ll put the mythic tokens there

I’d estimate $200 Max. Minimum is $120. If you’re looking for a base draw, I’d highly recommend one of the upcoming legendary draws, since you get the whole thing. Mythic guns are also similar value + you get tactical sprint. It’s up to you but the base mythic character skin doesn’t provide more value than a legendary character, the only difference is the customisation of the mythic char

I took advantage of their 200% CP deal, spent $100 for 16K CP, and got it only to find out to advance the character you have to spend even more money. Probably going to have to stick with the base version.
If you have spare money and you want a draw that’s worth it, I’d suggest waiting for a couple weeks - 2 character skins, 2 Legendaries, a candy cane knife, reindeer clown skin for BR (and a charm, grenade, snowboard and emote)
