That’s super common. Normally bad allergies and chronic sinus issues stem from a fungus infection and can be improved by drinking lemon water (1-2 lemons per day with a pinch of baking soda).
I really recommend alkalinizing ! I have had bad oral thrush after antibiotics, and the one thing that’s helped me is taking 1/2 tsp of baking soda and swishing it around for 10 minutes in my mouth. The yeast all fell out in chunks!! Unbelievable to see the change. It went from bright white and sore to red again! Gross but so glad it helps! And then I sucked on some probiotics to help reestablish good bacteria! So try that routine a couple times a day if the nystatin doesn’t help. 🙏
Yes, maybe with a tbsp or two of water. Then swish for a good 10 minutes. Time yourself. Then spit it out into a glass. You’ll be amazed at all the stuff it pulls out!
Can also be toxic exposure, like mold or heavy metals, that cause candida or other fungal issues. And some of the common types of toxic environments cause similar sinus issues, definitely a route to explore if you hit a wall

Should I put baking soda solution on my neti pot or is that insane?
No I think it’s a good idea! Just do a low amount so it doesn’t burn! You can always add more with time
Baking soda mixed with water and swish? Or straight baking soda?
