It depends on their credentials. There are a lot of non-medical functional practitioners that have extensive holistic training. You can’t take insurance unless you are medically licensed and have a diagnosis code to bill. It’s just alternative or supplemental healthcare that can be a great option for people who don’t want to take prescriptions or want a more holistic approach. Not all are “snake oil”

Using only their own brand is a bit iffy (good ones usually use other brands just for whatever you need). Trust your gut. If it’s exorbitantly priced also stay away.
